Saw him interviewed on Breakfast TV, he is not going to be everyones cup of tea, but f*** me, what a challenge!!! I can't comprehend that the human body will allow him to do it, incredible if he does complete it, and I hope he does.

Have been following this after someone shared a video a few days ago.

He's about 2 weeks in and has consistently done 50-55km per day at a pace of around 6:00/km. Got to the South Africa/Namibia border and they've had a delay crossing due to support vehicle needing some repairs. Rather than wait on that he just went on alone. In the middle of the night because it would have been to hot to run in the desert unsupported during the day.

A poster for an Italian restaurant with Michelangelo's naked statue of David has been barred from Glasgow subway.

The firm that manages the advertising space requested for the poster to be edited to hide the statue's nudity.

DRG Group, which owns Glasgow's Barolo restaurant, said it was "surprised" by the response to the advert - which shows the Renaissance sculpture eating a slice of pizza.

It created a new version of the poster that hides the statue's crotch area.
