The Falklands 2:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-60378487
This time warmer, and with less penguins.
For those unaware of the place and it's history:

It looks like Mauritius is fighting imperialism with it's own imperialism. In whoring up to the Septics we have shat all over the islanders, it really is a stain on our recent history. We owe the Chagossians big time, we don't however owe anything to Mauritius.........

We've discussed this on here before but the whole debacle really beggars belief.
Suppose it was easier to ruin lives than admit that your expensive computer system wasn't fit for purpose...and these people carried on getting high paid jobs and honours.

I'm not sure how much attention people are paying to this - a lot will depend on trajectory, but this could be quite bad (on Friday), and not just for the savages in the badlands of Wales and the South West but also in the South East. Buy large amounts of tinned food, nail crooked planks of wood across your windows and wait for all this to blow over.

At least we'll get some juice from the wind turbines, or not:
https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/202 ... over-wales
I mean seriously, what use are the poxy things. They're no good when there's no wind, they then fall over when there is, they're a blight on the landscape and if pictures on the internet are to be believed they produce a shitload of scrap which is simply buried.
Renewable? Ridiculous more like.....

Aye, and if that extinguisher swing had made contact the other guy in the cap would have been looking at a more severe charge I'd wager.

Perhaps they could train one of them to chase the Australians off the Embankment/South Bank.
