I was astounded when i found out this was a cover of a pop record (Kelly Clarkson i think?)

I'm not sure if this is a 'great' cover version, but I don't think I've ever heard a cover which tries so hard to sound exactly like the original as this. James Murphy even sounds more like Phil Oakey than James Murphy.

Similarly, I’m not sure if this works either, but James Murphy has had a bit of a thing for 80s tunes….
