We get this outcry every time we sell a youth player, Burke, Moncur, Potts, Scully, Cullen, Stanislas, etc.

Have we made a wrong call yet?

Stanislas eventually had a crack at the Premiership, but other than that.

We've let Alese go because he's not good enough.

Do you think in cases like these we ever insert buy back clauses?

Or have we ever?

I hope not, they're scummy and should be banned.

cheers for the link

just caught it..

losing 1-2 at h-t.

we slaughtered this lot wasn't it 6 or 7 nil last season ?

getting battered all over the park here.

one just past the upright, one off the line and now the 3rd in. 55 minutes gone.

well, cracking through ball and we're back in it.

2-3 good finish as well.

pretty open game, Odubeko has had two 1 v 1's with the keeper an done an Antonio twice. another occasion body checked on the h-w line and would have been away, ref has been dreadful imvho.

must be Cresswell Jnr at LB he's getting mullered..

:crylol:

I think we've played a very young team here. The Arsenal bloke who scored the first two cost them over £3m.

Good game. But very annoying how many times Arsenal players deliberately delayed free-kicks without sanction.

Agree. Good game. Even the wife spotted their dark arts. Inevitably I was also watching our LB to see how close to stepping up? Another smaller one. Appreciate it was U21. We need to remember those youngsters who sit above the group who played against Arsenal tonight (some were u19 I think) and the likes of Coventry, Ashby and Mipo etc. who are closer u23.

Some tough make or break discussions coming up…

No he was never on team list. Suspicion he may be on the bench Sunday…..with goal keeping gloves on 😉

Would be great to have him back in the squad and starting on Thu. Don't have much option for rotation at CB right now

Decent game imo. I was impressed by the keeper, Hegyi is it ? Good handling and made a couple of top quality saves to keep the score down imo.

Regular readers might remember that my neighbours cat is friends with another cat who’s owners work at West Ham medical centre.

Anyway, the cat came home yesterday and said:

Our youngster Nevers (CF) has gone to Newport and one of the younger goalkeepers (not Trott) has gone to Derby.

After a saucer of milk, he went on to say Lingard was never coming and Emerson wants to come, just haggling over agent bung.

To be fair the cat could have been out on the raz and imagined it, but if any ITK could confirm that would be ‘purrfect’?

On the subject of young Nevers, apparently he started the game at Newport yesterday and gained himself an assist for their first goal.

From the BBC match report:

Son season ticket holder - said Nevers was man of match.

If Trott has gone out on loan in Europe, who’s the GK gone to Derby. Anyone know?
Or was the cat confused.com?
