No CCTV or videos of the children being taken seem to be about...
Yes. Definitely there are children going missing, although it doesn't usually appear to be against their will. Also, many genuine 14 year old Albanian asylum seekers are more adult than most of us on here.

OTOH, there are some credible eye witness accounts of kids being forced or coerced into cars.

I bet they won’t admit to this being one of the reasons.

Did you know there was over 80,000 rapes and sexual assaults in England and Wales last year, including by policemen but you and the Mail highlighted this alleged incident,I wonder why?

The Tories will get what's coming to them over this, even knowing Labour will probably be just as useless, if not worse, people will punish them for this abject failure of their manifesto pledge.

Probably best we don't add to that number by letting in anymore rapists then, so yes, another government failing:

The first duty of the government is to keep citizens safe and the country secure. Straight outa the Home Office website.

As for The Mail? they're a newspaper (of sorts  ) and this is a news story, they reported it, other news outlets also reported it. One notable exception was The Guardian*, though they were busy mislabelling concerned local scousers far right, I don't have to wonder why.......

* Not that I could find anyway.

Ahem......

They are currently arguing the toss about 'building a wall' at the border - cost €2bn - between Bulgaria and Turkey?

Imagine that debate being made into our problem.

I am not defending them,if they are guilty of the crime they should pay the price.
I am pointing out that you use this case because it suits your anti immigration agenda.
The bigger problem is the amount of sexual assaults and rapes on women ,we live in a country where women live in fear ,even from our own police .
I just sense your posts are full of hatred and not for the first time we have right wing papers and now GB news spreading hatred, which is condoned by a fascist government.
We had Mosley and his black shirts spreading hatred towards the Jews, that was also backed by the Mail and we the NF and BNP in the 70s and 80s spreading hatred towards immigrants, with them getting skinheads doing their dirty work.
Try reading the report on why small boats have increased since Brexit and you will see that the failure lays with this government who did not put in a replacement for the Dublin agreement.
Don’t let hatred engulf you.

To be fair, it doesn't look like the Dublin Agreement was doing us many favours:

I think the report is saying they are choosing to come to us because we do not have any agreement where other countries do.
So they take the risk to cross out of a country that does have an agreement.

Ironic that the tool is wearing a DeWalt t-shirt.

I can understand people's anger, but that's just some straight up racism.

Made even more remarkable by the fact that Kirkby is part of Knowsley - the most overwhelmingly Labour constituency in the country.

Failure to tackle and resolve this issue will cost the Conservatives more votes than anything else in 2024.
