Plenty of time living in Hackney and Tower Hamlets thanks. "They" were nothing but welcoming when I turned up and lived next door to them.

The bottom line is something as important as the RNLI shouldn't be a charity in the first place........

I agree, however it's own remit doesn't limit it's actions just to our shores/waterways though........

I've always thought it should be funded by a compulsory licencing fee for every boat and water craft.
