The bits I saw he was totally destroying Wycombe down the Left. They couldn't handle him at all.

Imagine if he played behind Diangana - that would be superb entertainment! (But no doubt we'd concede a few as well.. )

I know mate and some of our best seasons have come off dreadful pre-seasons.

I’m not getting carried away. Just pleased we can put out two patched together squads and manage to play decent football in both. That’s it. I’m taking nothing else from the results.

Right back to the doom and gloom (work not the transfer thread)

Anderson played more central, like a no.10, and looked class. Put a proper shift in too.

Really interesting idea playing 2 matches simultaneously. Means we get a lot more match minutes and dknt need to make a whole 11 change.

First time I've ever seen it. Anyone else ever heard of a team splitting their first team?

Also, really good to see a style of play developing. We seem more inclined to play it out from the back. Keepers encouraged to move the ball quickly when they catch it, CM pushing on to break lines. Good stuff!

Funny old game, I thought the complete opposite, although I only watched the first half. Looked off the pace and gave the ball away a lot from what I saw.

Think a few teams are doing it bud, season starts in just over two weeks so limited time for pre-season friendlies.
