End of game is a bad look obviously, but not the only iffy call along the way. The sport deserves better refs period

Managed to get to half time before falling asleep, just woken up and watched the second half, great comeback by the Chiefs.

The pitch looked like it was sprayed with soap, so many players slipping.

What a game. I think the Chiefs suffered bad calls a couple of times so Eagles can't complain about the end.

It's a team game, but that result is down to 2 things. Mahomes genius, and the coaching.

Eagles were bullying and bossing that 1st half.

After HT Reid changed everything, lots of wide run plays, stretched that big Philly D, turned the game upside down.

Managed to stay up and watch it.

Haven't watched NFL properly since my uni days (2009-12, I liked the Saints and Cardinals back then but can't remember why) and had hardly any idea what was going on.

However, very entertaining and both sides looked impressive.

Hopefully I'll be able to get back into it, but it does make me feel old that a lot of the rookies I remember from back then have retired!

Saw elsewhere that it's Carolinas 1st & 2nd round picks for this year and next plus DJ Moore.

Not bad for Chicago to move back 8 spots. Especially with at least 3 teams ahead of them likely to take QBs.

Couple years Benching/Back up,breakthru 07/08,regular for 14/15 years..

Rodgers 3/4 years older I think...Earned a whole lot more from the game than Nobes tho,and still Playing ..

I'm STILL gutted..

used to go and watch the Oilers when the only ticket you could get was Standing Room Only (SRO) and you had to stand on the "Mezzanine" level on a ledge and peer over people's heads...

to be honest the Astrodome was a complete ****hole, worse I would imagine than the LS....

but even so....

Cowboys release Ezekiel Elliott

The Ezekiel Elliott era in Dallas is coming to an end as the Dallas Cowboys are releasing Elliott, who has four years remaining on a massive six-year, $90 million extension he signed in 2019, according to NFL Media reports.

Elliott was arguably the worst starting running back in the league last season, finishing last in the NFL in yards per carry (3.8), tackles avoided (32), and percentage of runs that went for 10-plus yards (7.4%). According to multiple reports, the move will be processed as a post-June 1 cut. The Cowboys will see $10.9 million in cap relief as a result and they'll be left with $5.82 million in dead money on this year's cap. He was owed $64.76 million for the remainder of his contract, but there was no guaranteed salary remaining on his deal.

While the end for Elliott in Dallas wasn't great, he was one of the best running backs in Cowboys history. Third on the all-time list in rushing yards for the Cowboys (8,262), Elliott rushed for 1,000 yards four times in seven seasons, while also reaching double digits in rushing touchdowns four times and earning three Pro Bowl appearances.
