Re: Vladimír Coufal signs
Truly a no brainer of a decision. We are a different side with Vlad in it - going forward and defensively.

Re: Vladimír Coufal signs
What's Vlads injury then?
Is it from that snidey knee that Matic did in the cup?
Must have agitated it against Leeds.
Need to be careful with groin injuries as they linger.
If he doesn't make it tomorrow can we stop him from going away with Czech republic?

Good bit of business... He's earned his bump in wages due to his performances on the pitch & his work ethic that has added to the squad as a whole...
Also shows prospective players that we appreciate graft as a club & reward it...

Re: Vladimír Coufal signs
Do we know roughly his old deal and new deal?
Understand if it's not my business.

Got a feeling we’ll see him back to his best now he’s got his (deserved) pay rise.

Thought he was on 26k a week previously which was 5 times his Slavia salary, probably on around 40k pw now which is very fair...bonzosbeard wrote: ↑Sat Oct 02, 2021 11:01 pm Do we know roughly his old deal and new deal?

He was a doubt for the Brentford game, so I'm glad he's getting some time off.

Re: Vladimír Coufal signs
I'm a little bit glad he's out. Not because I want to see him injured obviously but I think he needs time out and good rest.
He's really not hit his form of last year, where he was arguably the best right back in the league, and I'm hoping the reason for that is because he's tired.
I think Fredericks has taken the limited chances he's had so far and, if he's fit after the break, give him a go and give Coufal all the time he needs to get himself right again. Failing that, Johnson can do a job for a couple of games, particularly in two games (Everton and Spurs) where I'd fully expect us to be playing 5 at the back again.

Re: Vladimír Coufal signs
Cameras cut to him several times on Sunday only for him to be rotating/flexing his back or his right leg during a gap in play the game.
