They thought Trump were a disgrace, now to liberal Americans horror, their saviour is proving to be a shambling reckless danger to them and the entire world. Maybe, they will wake up to the reality of sleepy Joe

Nope he’ll use drones like Obama and Trump before him. Let 20 year olds play “video games” in Nevada rather than risk boots on the ground.
Get some nice video footage for the press conferences and create the next generation of IS members by killing the odd civilian here and there.
Rinse and repeat.

Trump is/was a disgrace. Doing a deal with the Taliban? The f*cking Taliban? Worst president ever.Puff Daddy wrote: ↑Sat Aug 28, 2021 5:27 pm They thought Trump were a disgrace, now to liberal Americans horror, their saviour is proving to be a shambling reckless danger to them and the entire world. Fair point, although cabinet government mitigates the worst excesses. Viewed from afar the US president looks like a quasi dictator.

This is why it's hard to take these shitwits seriously, what good is 72 virgins? Proper paradise would be 72 slappers, birds who know what they've got and how to use it, not 72 uptight harridans. The Old Man of Storr wrote: ↑Sat Aug 28, 2021 12:32 pm Those virgins are in for one disappointing evening .
Getting something like that so fundamentally wrong undermines the whole basis of their faith......

Re: The Biden Thread
Dubya certainly had/did lots to criticise him for. I do remember though when Trump was president, some of Bush's harshest critics realised that in comparison to Trump, Bush was almost Obama-like.. Bush was a bona fide politician, Trump was a game show host.
Trump surrendered to the Taliban. Bush didn't.

Ah, now you see 72 slappers wouldn't be deemed as 'halal' & they couldn't possibly be expected to sully their pure penis's with contact with 'unclean slappers'.delbert wrote: ↑Sun Aug 29, 2021 4:38 pm This is why it's hard to take these shitwits seriously, what good is 72 virgins? Even if, because they were dead & especially if they'd blown themselves up, they no longer had a penis to do anything with.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.dailym ... wages.html
'We have a choice. One way to fight inflation is to drive down wages and make Americans poorer. I have a better plan to fight inflation,' part of Biden's speech reads. 'Lower your costs, not your wages. Make more cars and semiconductors in America. More infrastructure and innovation in America.'
'More goods moving faster and cheaper in America. More jobs where you can earn a good living in America. And, instead of relying on foreign supply chains – let’s make it in America.
it wasn't that long a go Trump would have been ridiculed for saying this. I think isolationist has been used. And good luck cutting costs when energy costs is driving inflation, from vehicle fuel to electricity.

Re: The Biden Thread
If you want a serious answer it's that Trump was ridiculed for how he intended to do that. His grand plan seemed to be based around fines and tariffs which ultimately drive prices up for the consumer but don't bring production back as companies know they can just wait them out.
The problem with what you've quoted there from Biden is the same problem we all have with most politicians. Lots of nice ideas, no substance.

Re: The Biden Thread
So is Biden going MAGA? Bring home all manufacturing. Use more US gas.
Biden and his party should be ridiculed with how he plans to do this. They caused this as did all the other World leaders by shutting down the economy and printing money. Now covid is nothing to worry about in relation to the health impact inflation is going to cause.
The answer tell companies to make things cheaper. How about reducing tax.

To be fair, Blair & Co. did a deal with the IRA. Not on the same scale but the principle is the same.

Absolute failure if America has 12 years of Obama and Biden administrations and there are no steps taken at a national level to stop these religious zealots interfering with abortion laws. The law in Idaho is scheduled to take effect 30 days after the signing, but court challenges are expected due to opponents calling it unconstitutional.
The law will allow the father, grandparents, siblings, aunts and uncles of a "pre-born child" to each sue an abortion provider for a minimum of $20,000 (£15,000) in damages within four years after the abortion.
Rapists can't file a lawsuit under the law, but a rapist's relatives could.

Re: The Biden Thread
Biden met with the Saudi Crown Prince this weekend. I thought he said they were terrorists.
Saying that trump also met with them. He was anti Muslim except for places he had property in.
Obama was pretty chummy with them too.
And Bush definitely was.
Isn't fox news part owned by Saudis, or used to be.
Funny how often the "Leader of the Free World" (as Americans like to call their President) always chums up to the Saudi leader.
