Lingard obviously the perfect alternative.
Lingard for next year and then Messi following year? Seems like Messi wants a further year in Europe.

I think he’d still fit into our attack pretty well on the left wing, with SWP on the right, both behind Eidur up top!

And Danny Williamson in the middle. Whatever happened to him?

it's the Guv'nor's fault....

:crylol:

I posted before the season when he signed that he'd played a real blinder.

massive signing on fee (I imagine), pretty good wages and a free agent again after a year....

and a team in the US that will pay him over the odds and he'll be a decent player there with the competition.

Messi isn't going to Miami, he'll get about 200M to play in Saudi.

did anyone see the reported fee they're prepared to pay Benzema ? or how much they paid Ronaldo ?

money for old rope over there.

he mate Becks might pay him to go to Miami, or maybe Wayne will get him to sign up in New England ?

probably better clubs in South Florida to be fair.

For God's sake no. In 2021 I understood why he gave Man U another chance. Especially after they signed Ronaldo. It made sense that he would give that another go. 2022 he signed for a team that threw silly money at a whole range of players, including ex-Hammers. They just about saved their skin, and he was in and out of the team. Let him go. Its for our own good. Just forget about him. Move on.

150 up for Jesse Lingard

A huge milestone for Jesse Lingard today as he reaches 150 complete pages on West Ham forum Knees Up Mother Brown since he last wore their shirt in a competitive game.

Asked about this achievement, Lingard said 'I'm just glad I live rent free in some people's heads. First [Ole Gunnar] Solskjaer forgot about me, and then [Steve] Cooper. It's nice to know that some people seem to still think I'm a footballer and not just a TikTok joke'
