Re: Valheim
Been enjoying for the last week or so. If you're into your survival games (solo or co-op), this is up there with the best.
It's essentially Minecraft but with a Viking theme.

Re: Valheim
Still in beta but you'll get 50-75 hours out of it. And lots more if you're simply into building and crafting stuff.

Valheim
Is now available on Gamepass.
Is it any good? I’ve downloaded to play online with my friend to replace Grounded once (we’re delaying completing it because we’ve enjoyed it so much) we’ve completed it.

Re: Valheim
<time passes...>
Anyway, Valheim! Well, I don't have the time (or perhaps the inclination) to get heavily into games so much these days... I can count those I have in the last five years on the fingers of one human, non-Norfolk hand.
Valheim is one of them. It's probably the title I've played more than any other since I started this thread. And it's well supported by the developers; there's loads of additional content been added since I got pretty much as far as you could.
It's a well-balanced challenge, it's not Minecraft* but you can build stuff AND it's got Vikings in it!
So it's still a from me.
* You can still do very Minecraft-y things, though.

Re: Valheim
Sorry for starting a new thread UTJ, thought I did see one but couldn’t find it.
It’s so much fun, two and a half hours passed in the blink of an eye.
Can’t say we got a lot done because we weren’t sure what we were doing.
House built and a stable food sauce, just need a pick axe for mining now.
Any hints (without spoilers please) UTJ?

No worries, that's the mods' job!Joyeux Marteau wrote: ↑Sun Mar 19, 2023 3:13 pmSorry for starting a new thread UTJ, thought I did see one but couldn’t find it.
Best advice I can offer is to set up another save where you're close to a merchant (when you get that far and find one). Switching between the two when you're full/over-encumbered will save you hours and help you out of some sticky situations.
Re: Valheim
I haven't played this since the Mistlands release. Is it any good? I absolutely loved it the first time around.
Did every single boss and had all the best gear and 2 star pet wolves. Took an age though! haha
