meanwhile the Glocks* (that cost more than 500 bucks anyway) et al will still be in use and still be functioning pretty damn well. and you ain't getting any self respecting AR-15** owner turning it in for 500 dlrs.

*actually I could turn in my old not working Glock 17 for 500 and go buy a brand new one for just over 500. oh wait, I can pocket the 500 and go steal another one.

go shoot someone with my new stolen Glock, and nick their 600 dollar AR-15

chuffin' Nora this is eazy peazy.

yes mate, and it's in great nick. in fact it's a rifle not a musket.......had an officer like Richard Sharpe and a sergeant like Patrick Harper so I'd dare not have it dirty in any way shape or form...

Crimean War rifle for sale, one owner in great nick, hardly used..

:crylol:

should have kept my Louis XIV flintlock though..

worth circa 100K

The more information comes out about the Uvalde school shooting the worse things look for the authorities.

Video from inside the school. Bottom line is the police bottled it. Easy to say from my armchair, but this is what they train for. I particularly like the officer who sanitizes his hands while waiting a safe distance from the shooter. wtf.

Possibly posting the same video, maybe more.

This ain't a diss of the Old Bill but the Republicans keep saying ARM THE TEACHERS ARM THE TEACHERS but a dozen cops with guns & in body armour are running from this weird kid with no training who'd legally bought his guns with money he earnt from working at a fast food burger place.

Think about that. Trained police with unlimited guns are running from a burger boy. That's what America is allowing by letting these f*cked up kids buy these guns.

And they want the teachers to have guns rather than ban or limit guns. The trained police couldn't deal with it yet they want Mrs Johnson who knits her own jumpers to start engaging in a firefight with these nutters.

F*cking madness. Many of the kids were still alive while these blokes were hanging out in the corridor.

It had been a few days. 3 or 4 dead and many injured in a shooting in the food court of a mall in Indiana today. Should be an interesting one. Shooter walked into the food court and started shooting people with a rifle. Another person pulled his handgun and killed him.

They're sentencing Nikolas Cruz, the kid that shot 17 people dead at the school in south Florida a few years back.

The jury have to decide whether it's life in prison or a death sentence. I'm not that fussed either way although I would like to see changes in the law so mentally ill teenagers can't buy these sorts of guns, or even any sort of gun.

But this piece explains how a jury is chosen in death penalty cases - and it's all geared towards one thing.

Survivors from the July 4th shooting are suing him, his dad, gun manufacturers, gun shops and anyone else they feel is culpable.

I wonder how much more of this we'll start to see? Will gun owning families of teenagers start taking out mass shooting insurance just in case little Timmy goes on a rampage?

I read that having alligators wandering around is a reason Florida has open carry gun laws.

Anyway:

You don't really need guns for gators. They usually leave humans alone except for small women jogging by canals or old ladies walking their dogs by ponds. I've stood within a foot or two of gators & they don't do anything.

However, there are over 1,000,000 wild pigs in Florida & some of them are MASSIVE (like us). Those you might need guns for. Bears too, I suppose.

But mostly Meth heads & Liberals.

Nikolas Cruz gets spared the death penalty for shooting up the school he got kicked out of.

They really should go after the people who made the laws that allow an obviously mentally ill teen to buy weapons of war.

But they won't.

We've all seen reports over the years of American courts holding various manufacturers responsible for how their products are able to be used, like (I believe) Porsche for allowing their cars to be driven quickly and therefore responsible when they crash due to excessive speed, or (perhaps urban myth) a pet owner who dried her just bathed pet in a microwave oven, 'because the instructions didn't say she couldn't', so why aren't weapons manufacturers held similarly responsible?
