for those who are asking for a "buy back" programme, you'd get 500 dlrs (or whatever) for an old not functioning pre war piece that wouldn't fire if your life depended on it.

meanwhile the Glocks* (that cost more than 500 bucks anyway) et al will still be in use and still be functioning pretty damn well. and you ain't getting any self respecting AR-15** owner turning it in for 500 dlrs.

*actually I could turn in my old not working Glock 17 for 500 and go buy a brand new one for just over 500. oh wait, I can pocket the 500 and go steal another one.

**and a low budget AR-15 is about 600

go shoot someone with my new stolen Glock, and nick their 600 dollar AR-15

chuffin' Nora this is eazy peazy.

The shooter has been caught. Since his name was revealed earlier today internet sleuths have mined the web to find out all there is to know about this kid. And, as expected, a lot of disturbing videos have been uncovered. More disturbing is that the internet is spending all of its time trying to push this kid into one fold or another. He's a trumper. No, he's antifa. No he's blm. Ffs. He's mentally ill. And he was able to access and use a high powered rifle to kill people watching a parade. That's the only story here. Broken people in broken system violently lashing out at the world around them. Over and over again.

I saw that earlier. People bickering. "He's one of yours". "No, he's a trump supporter. Here's a photo at a rally"

He's another young American man who had access to guns & killed people. Same as 90% of the others.

In Philadelphia tonight.

In Harrisburg tonight. No gunfire. There was a big fight and people assumed there would be shots fired.

Cripes. Better put a warning out if any US visitors travel here around November 5th. They'll be traumatised.

I’m reading a book called ‘How the South Won the Civil War’, by historian Heather Cox Richardson. What the word ‘Freedom’ meant across the continent, from the revolutionary period through the late 1800’s is frighteningly close to what you’d imagine it to mean today, particularly from the people who wield it as almost a weapon. Which is to say, freedom is not free nor should be available for all ‘man’ kind.

So the bloke that did this latest shooting was home schooled because he didn't fit in at school.

Then three years ago police were called to his house twice because he was suicidal.

They took away his collection of knives and daggers.

Then when he turns 21 he nips out to buy a bunch of high powered guns.

It's crazy. Time and time again these obviously messed up young men are allowed to buy these guns.

It was a false flag operation. Of course it was, what was I thinking?

Wait, wait. Not a false flag. It was nagging women and drug pushing high school counselors that made this kid snap.

Typical trump supporter/ally. Her & her husband were con merchants, the husband sent to jail for ten years. She's been bankrupt twice which she did to avoid paying bills (like trump). She's changed her name several times (for various cons) and thinks climate change is a hoax blaming changes on 'the sun'.

Not sure if this counts as a mass shooting or spree killing but someone went to four different 7-11 shops around Riverside (east of LA) this morning & killed 2 people & injured 3 more.

Police are a bit baffled because the places don't have much money at that time of night plus the victims don't appear to have been shot for a reason.

It might be something to do with today being 7-11's 95th birthday as well as the date being 7/11 in America.

All in all, another weird event in an increasingly weird country.
