Roy blaming the pitch...while WI go to 20 without loss when we were 29-5.

And we can do it all again tomorrow. If it’s the same wicket it could be interesting. There was turn and the surface seemed to be breaking up at times.

Vince does his usual of playing a glorious shot followed by his wicket in innocuous circumstances.

Vince lovely shot followed by ‘out’ as sure as the sunrise
England look to have a solid score here, good controlled innings from Roy useful late runs from Jordan. Morgan struggling again, he’s a great leader of men but we’ve been carrying him for so long.
Wind playing havoc with the deep fielders judgement.
At least three sets of lucky Hammers out there based on flags hanging from the stands.

Re: Cricket English Summer 2021 + Ashes
Just watched the last 4 overs of this (was bed time). No idea how that was that close. Jordan’s over in particular was garbage but Topleys aside the last 5 we’re not great at all. What happened to full and straight Yorkers, they just kept bowling wides or giving length.

Insane ending. We looked home and dry yet nearly threw it away.

I mean, how much more plumb does an LBW have to be for him to actually give it? Dreadful. Home umpiring at it's worst.

Mike O'Farrell Middlesex chairman. Can his views really be described as "deeply hurtful"?

I remember West Indians themselves lamenting that too many youngsters are going into other sports nowadays.Denbighammer wrote: ↑Wed Jan 26, 2022 9:30 am https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/60125897
