No rotated, just another one for the 'wtf' you doing list this winter tour. Green top, ball moving, moisture around, pink ball, lights... lets rest the best player we (or maybe anyone) has in these conditions.. He'll be rested for the plane trip home.

I thought they said he had a "niggle"...

You can say we were a bit unlucky with Robinson injuring himself (although let's be honest he's not the most sprightly lad) but Wood and Woakes bowled like drains.

Why not give Overton a game instead of bringing Woakes back? Why does Pope get back in the side...has he suddenly learnt to play spin in the last fortnight?

This Boland bowls one delivery, has no variety, doesn’t change his pace or get the ball to do anything else.

Yet gets us every time.

As I’ve said, he won’t land a blow against the competent Test nations like NZ and India.

That was dreadful from Pope, you could see Boland was trying to get him to prod at one.

Just leave the ball, it’s basic stuff.

My SkyQ decided not to record this today saving me from the misery.

I doubt we could chase the 129 required as it stands.

EDIT - Nice to see their number 11 cope better than our openers in 'unplayable conditions' (BT keep referring to it as)

Close 152 ahead, they can declare over night and be safe.

Wood was poor for most of the first innings buts that's a lovely bouncer to get rid of Khawaja.

Kohli steps down after defeat in South Africa, his form has been terrible as well in recent times, not sure he'll be picked for the next Test (if India are playing one in the near future). Great batsmen and competitor but a bit of a knob on the field and at really, really **** winner (says most about a person)

One of the only bonuses from this tour is not seeing that complete weirdo Smith making constant big scores so they better not let him make a ton later on...

Honestly, what was Crawley thinking with that run? Did we really need that tight single?

Pope drives me made. He looks glorious for 10 mins and now doesn't even wait for a spinner before he falls to bits.

Someone needs to get in that lads head, he cannot leave a ball. Does not have the patience for test cricket.

Daft run from Crawley but why on earth didn't Burns dive?

Sums up our batsmen to be honest. Getting the basics all wrong.

Could we end this awful series with something to be positive about?

A long way to go yet… but a good start. Highest opening partnership of the series so far.

Brilliant performance with the ball and Australia were dead lucky with the Woakes no ball and Broad pitching outside the line decisions.

Our best opening stand down under since we has Carberry in the side.
