Buendia definitely was.

I’d also argue Danny Ings and Leon Bailey could be seen as “unlikely” signings.

& not looked at this level even longer than that. He was 28 when he last shone as a player (it all went bandy for him in 2018 on loan to WBA)

A career decimated by injuries and bad decisions.

31 goals in 42 games, since then he's made 80 appearances in 7 years and scored 23 goals.
He's only scored 80 goals in his 14 year career, Messi and Ronaldo had that in two seasons and I hate his stupid celebration thing

If Moyes wants Sturridge and he doesn’t think he will harm the group dynamic I’m fine with it. I guess he will be a few weeks from fitness and hope we get someone in January, but Moyes will have factored all that into his decision anyway.

Dawson will be out though, and Dawson is better at attacking set pieces than Zouma. Not sure I've seen anyone as dangerous at set pieces as him at West Ham.

Think Zouma scored more than Dawson last season?

He is a massive threat from set pieces.

To Brighton? Sure.

To anyone else? Not so much.

Here we go again, did nobody learn their lesson with Lingard?

I don't want us to sign Sturridge. Just feels like a waste of time, money and effort however there is absolutely nothing to back up the idea he is lazy or would be a bad influence on the squad.

His best mate at Liverpool was Jordan Henderson. Do you really think someone unprofessional or with a bad attitude would even be given the time of day by that weird football robot?

Pay as you play, off the bench. Up front if Antonio out. If Moyes wants him.

I'm good with that.

A little update on Alfie Lewis as the Irish league season has just finished. St Pat's finished second in the league and last weekend they won the Irish FA Cup. He played 31 times in the league (3 goals) and 5 times in the cup run.
His contract has now expired...

EDIT: I thought the post I was quoting was in the 'Kids Are All Right' thread. I'm not suggesting we should re-sign him!
