I honestly hadn't intended to post again until Joshua Leroy born but I noticed the interest from you guys this morning, as I'm still following all the threads! Josh is a couple of weeks away and as it happens my daughter Becki on her way down from Rugby at this time after another scan. Personally I'm still in there fighting but as anyone who knows about terminal illness knows you can't put a time factor on it. How long is a piece of string says my excellent oncologist. I will be back when the little Hammer is born and after that my wonderful wife of nearly 40 years has moderator Nick Fs email address for the update which will matter. For now Kumbers , like me, keep worrying about when we eventually get some back up in for Antonio. My wife says dying of cancer and all you do is moan about Antonio's hamstring! (the exclamation mark again, as someone noticed how much I use them). Cheers for now lads, COYI.

Leroy, I’ve got nothing really to add, other than to say what an inspiration you are. And that I have no doubt that you will live on for many, many years to come in the thoughts of us all, and in the stories told to young Joshua!
Hang in there, mate!

100%
Proper proper West Ham. The attitude, the courage, the love for this club. Everything good about our own, is leroy.
We’re a lucky bunch to be of the same blood as legends like him.

Leroy, I really, really hope you get to meet Josh and you can stay positive and comfortable. You are a braver man than me.

Good luck with everything Leroy - just two weeks until Josh arrives now - I pray that you enjoy him and your family for as long as possible. Dave.
