Very quiet out there..
Traffic cameras locally showing road surfaces clear of snow, just looking wet. Of course, could be black ice on it.
Travel safely everyone.. & no walking on frozen ponds or lakes, ffs...

Had an outside gig in the snow yesterday. Absolutely loved it but it took me over an hour to drive the 5 miles home. Just been out for a quick walk to see what the roads are like and I don't think i'll get out of our close so day off for me....not that I can do very much in the garden when it's like this.

Probably cheaper to heat your car rather than your house these days

Up there as one of the best days of the year watching videos of people having very slow speed crashes downhill in snow, great content.

Driving home from work in it yesterday I dropped my mate off one side of hornchurch and headed to the other .
Took me 30 mins. Was ridiculous, people can't drive in the snow. Well they can they just think normal rules apply

Car coming out side road going way to fast approaching it so I slowed down, lucky really as his brakes failed and he just shot out

Normally his speed would be ok to approach that road but it's snowing for god sake just have to drive like a granny !

I walked out of the door this morning wearing leather loathers. I took 5 steps before thinking better of it and going inside to get some trainers on.

So I go out to the garage this morning, as I usually do for a sneaky ciggie, in nothing but my dressing gown and a pair of trainers. Guess what twat slipped and ended up on their bare arse, with a clump of snow between their butt-cheeks?

Jesus f*** was it cold...

Why the hell did that bus driver attempt to carry on? We had a doughnut like that last night - carried on to try and get people home, and smashed the bus up along with a few cars. No point trying to be a hero when you're in an 8-15 ton vehicle.

Winter tyres probably wouldn't have prevented any of these incidents, but a bit of common sense would have - like my other colleague who stopped his bus, let all the air out and left it where it was until this morning.
