One degree less in Leigh (Wigan) when I came out of the gym at midday. They'll be having BBQs and getting **** faced in the garden up here tonight (it is the law above 18 degrees for most of Leigh and the surrounding areas)

Might be BBQ temperature in S.Yorks but squally, at times heavy rain puts the xnay on that. No heating on but have removed my jumper as my sports-type Adidas top is doing fine. Are all sports tops meant to make you warm like this?

The high winds last night cause a gust to blow through my house and blow my bedroom door open whilst I was sleeping. I nearly crapped my pants.

There's an "atmospheric river" over California at the moment bringing, gasp, rain, and possibly snow at higher levels.

The holiday boat parade has been cancelled tonight.

With it due to stay below freezing, it will be the ice which is the problem. I’ve finally succumbed to the bug Mrs MB and the girls have had so would have been working from home tomorrow anyway so I hope they don’t close the schools but I imagine they will.
