Re: The weather
Back in the freezer next week for the UK.
Looking like some parts of the country could have disruptive snow again particularly Tuesday to Thursday

Top forumming Tenbury, obscure Son House/Led Zeppelin reference - depending on your genre!

Yes, it is a bit tedious.Crouchend_Hammer wrote: ↑Thu Jan 12, 2023 2:51 pm Monsoon conditions in East London

With the strong winds it's not like you can use an umbrella either.

Re: The weather
A very pleasant 13 and sunny here today. Had lunch outside in the sun. Not good for the ski resorts in the Pyrenees, mind, Half of the m are shut and the other half have less than 50% of their runs open... In 10/20 years, skiing here will probably be consigned to the history books.

Cool & sunny here today, more rain over the weekend then back to clear & sunny days for us. Which is good for me as when I'm not drinking I want to be outside.

I favour Memphis Minnie ( although the rain falling on my shed roof is almost Bonhamesque)

Re: The weather
which is probably why the don kept trying to buy it using tax payer money. Or, rather than farm land I'm sure he envisioned an awful lot of golf courses.

Re: The weather
There's a great big continent down south that's larger than Australia with 24 hour summer sunshine just waiting to be colonised in a few years time....

It's even more fun, watching people you employ working in it, from the warmth of your heated office..vietnammer wrote: ↑Thu Jan 19, 2023 12:18 am Ain't heavy frost beautiful, if you don't have to go out and work in it ( I don't, anymore)

Brass Monkeys in East Essex still! 5 car pile up on the way to work yesterday due to the ice I imagine, fortunately looked like just bangs/scratches and no one hurt.
