You have to be joking, the bloke who is first choice for the Champions League and European Champions, is a superb footballer and has been for seasons
Did you watch the game yesterday? Henderson was a pale shadow of Rice, and gave the ball away virtually every time he touched it.

Are you selecting that on form or reputation? Because in this tournament both Phillips and Rice were streets ahead of Henderson.
Form and reputation before the Euros, ie pre-tournament on paper
I'd have him in, league winner, two champions league finals, bar last season, Liverpool have been one of the best sides in Europe, he deserves a place in that theoretical side

I was stunned at how ordinary Grealish looked at times, and I cant help but feel his notional value has been helped by an excitable media, the YouTube culture which can splice hundreds of moments of brilliance and turn a player (from a reputation point of view) into a an unstoppable, world class player. Against Denmark, I dont believe he played sensibly as he kept trying to run through and around the red wall, without perhaps looking for the quicker ball, or the more incisive cross or pass. I dont believe he figured much in the game yesterday. In fact, apart from his (admittedly key) intervention in the Germany game, I often felt he looked a little lost, and a man whose value has been a product of talking heads.
....................
I felt both Denmark and Italy had his number. They were obviously aware of his 'balance problems' in and around the penalty area, so when he had the ball they put two defenders in front of him standing a yard away. They didn't tackle him and when he moved to go round them they just moved with him like a couple of Space Invaders (remember them?). Without the opportunity to fall over he didn't know what to do.
Criticizing Grealish for failing to produce in 15 minute, chasing-the-game cameos is very much part the wider problem when it comes to English football. Until we start learning to trust our creative players and build the team around them we will always be nearly men. Pragmatic, containing football has never worked for England.

Creative players and Grealish is an oxymoron, if Grealish was KDB then 100% build around that, he has 100% not and a player that is 25 and played more games in the Championship than the Premier League, the delusion is off the charts, if we had KDB, or some of that ilk, then totally.

I refer you top my previous comment. He doesn't deserve a place on form, because he continually gives the ball away - you just can't do that against one of the best sides in the world and not have it cost you badly

I see a stat on Twitter, not sure if true, think it was Phillips played 13% of passes forward, as soon as Henderson came on, he gave it away but was playing miles more forward passes, albeit probably no where as were camped
