Sir Elton John @ BST, Hyde Park. Anyone have an idea what crowds would be like if I arrived around 4pm with Elton due to start at 8pm? I don't really fancy seeing all 7 support acts so I think 4pm is a fair compromise. I haven't been to a proper concert for ages as opposed to small gigs or arena gigs.
Sounds about right, depends on what tickets you have and how close you want to get to reserve a decent view, we've done it a few times previously. From memory, it fills up pretty quick around the 4-5pm mark but there is plenty of stuff around the north of the park to have a look at - something to eat etc if you do get there a bit earlier, the usual outside gig stuff. The Cuban brothers are okay for a mindless bit of fun, got their own stage there.
My sister-in-law bought the tickets and "invited" us along last weekend. We tried to back out... work, distance, rail strike (addison lee booked both ways from Leigh) and so on - but we are still going
I have done remarkably well to avoid Ed Sheeran's music, I only really know the A team song as I murdered it on Karaoke once, so I genuinely have no idea what to expect

Ed Sheeran at Wembley tomorrow.
Not by choice.

I'll probably enjoy it after all that
See Ed last time he was at Wembley, He was excellent.
If this covers Glastonbury, then be warned, there is a big cat on the loose, near a neighbouring field. It is believed to be a very hungry puma. www.msn.com

Tomorrow Hella Mega @LS
Weezer
Fall Out Boy
Green Day
Original bought the tickets in September 2019. Rescheduled twice
Anyone else waiting as long for their gigs since purchasing the tickets?
Sold mine for Elton instead as both same day. Didn't think I'd have to make a choice like that ever and even more surprised I'd pick Elton. Guess I'm aging.
I haven't listened much to EN for years, and I really enjoyed the concert last night, but they/their music has always been "difficult listening" and now is downright weird - to be honest, I prefer the older stuff I was listening to back in the 80s (Kollaps/Halber Mensch era)
They even introduced one song as "this is a weird song... compared to all the other weird songs"
Was at the bowl last night for the Chillis. Epic. Still hanging.
Wembley this coming Weds with the mrs to see Ed. Have seen him a few times now, including in a pub back in 2010/11 and always enjoy it. Can’t see it coming close to last night though.
