Saw 'A Winged Victory for the Sullen' on Saturday night and my word, what an incredible show that was. Missed the opening act, was running slightly late, train strikes meant had to book into a hostel for the night! Got to my seat, row 4, terrific view and well priced tickets too.

Just an unbelievable show, incredible musicians really amazing stage design and lighting. They played pretty much non-stop only to talk and say hello to the crowd. Upon leaving decided I'd grab a vinyl of 'The Undivided Five' then they wandered out and managed to get a signed copy. Had a real nice chat with both Adam and Dustin from AWVFTS, a very surreal experience.

That's great to hear, stop. Seeing Stars Of The Lid at a big, old church in Brighton was one of the best gigs I've ever been to. The lighting then was mainly these sheets of light cutting through dry ice at different angles, absolutely brilliant.

True Sounds Of Liberty - a Californian punk band going back to 1978. Their most famous song is about uh… having fun with girls’ corpses…

Looks like I’m going to see Carcass in Exeter on Tuesday, then Wu Tang Clan and Nas at the O2 the week after. Not bad, not bad.
