Had a bit of an 80s theme for a couple of upcoming gigs

Duran Duran - Manchester 29 April. The missus has a few mates and their better halves coming over from the Isle of Man for this - will be good socially if not the music.
Soft Cell/Heaven 17/ The Farm - Let’s Rock, Southampton - 8 July.

Looking forward to seeing Baba Ali support The Go Team in Reading this Thursday.

A Spanish bloke in work got me into them a few years ago. I must say, I'm not a fan of everything they do but I love the album "Infest The Rats' Nest". Mars For The Rich is an absolute belter of a track.

Didn't have the chance to post pre-gig but last Saturday I went to see THe Pschotic Monks, on spec, in Lille. I'd only heard one song beforehand
Excellent! Going to see them again next month in Toulouse.

Sleep Token fairly soon, if the Brixton Academy re-opens.

Then in March, Lamb of God (again contingent on Brixton re-opening), and then Bloodywood in the Electric Ballroom. Cannot wait for the latter, will be a unique experience - very good heavy metal, Hindi metal singing/growls but then a bit of rap in English, topped up with a flute player.

Sabaton for the 4th or 5th time live in April, at Wembley Arena the biggest venue I'd have seen them in, to round it off.
Lamb of God eventually took place in Wembley Arena last Tuesday 21st March. Kreator, one of my favourite thrash bands, and then LoG was bloody outstanding.

Roll on Bloodywood on Thursday, their gigs look absolutely mental and it's been god knows how long since I went to a properly small venue like the Electric Ballroom is

I've got a tribute thing Friday. Don't usually go to these, but couldn't resist this one - The Cureheads supported by Siouxsie & The Budgies. The headliners last ever show, apparently.

That's one band I've never given a chance. I've got a limited edition box set of theirs "Hordes of Chaos" which has sat unplayed for ages. Might have to give it a go.
