More frustratingly a chance for others to earn more points whilst us in the high 50's go another behind, still panicky for Gent on 59 myself :nonpl:

But. we. move.

This was my problem with the Larnaca game, ended up not going because the cost ended up far too high by the time they announced the tickets, and I'd planned something else instead. Travelling to Ghent is already expensive unless you're willing to go on an 8-10 hour coach trip.

I’m in the same boat re Gent. Reluctant to splash out on the overpriced travel due to the Easter hols without the guarantee of a ticket.

The high points starting tally for Bournemouth is not filling me with much confidence.

Don't forget Bournemouth includes 700 AST who have to buy tickets, not all of those will be doing Gent. I reckon 55 will be enough for that.

It much easier than using the forwarding feature on the ticketing website.
Thanks Hammer Man.

Doesn't look like there is a huge take up from STHs for their Gent (H) seats! Certainly not the same demand as Lyon last season

Curious to ask some of those in here if they've achieved it how have you grown your points from around 20 to a number where you can get tickets? I've bought every cup game for the last 3 years, and been in the ballot (and not been successful) at least 15 times over the past few seasons. Is it just buy a ticket for every away game that doesn't sell out even if I can't make it or do women's games now add to those points as well?

Any advice would be great as I've no clue how to start climbing up this board.

Buy a ticket to every away game you can get your hands on to get your points up. If you can't go to some, I'm sure someone else would buy your ticket. Opt in for the home Cup scheme too as that'll give you 2 Priority Points per home game still I think. Those are the main things to do essentially. A bit of luck in the ballot is needed too if you want to keep climbing

Not on maximum points (44), so do miss out on some of the more sought after games, but for me, it really was as simple as going to every game I could get a ticket for - both home and away, be it mid-week Manchester or Liverpool or a Sunday in Wolves or Villa. Fulham was the first game I missed out on this year and (very, very) likely to miss Bournemouth (possibly Palace too).

It's easier to accrue points earlier in the season as the starting point is obviously lower.

Categorically no to that - buy one for every game you can get to, even if you have to inconvenience yourself considerably, by all means. If you buy just for the point you are doing down a fellow supporter.

Miles in, go to the **** ones, two seasons time, top of the tree.

Don't be like backhouse as thats a c**** trick, we don't advocate that, funny as it the same people that post in here all the time, which shows you its the same people that go - once you get there, you have no option but to stay :crylol:

If Bournemouth gets to 55 Cottee, i'll buy yours for you :crylol:

Had you started at the beginning of last season and bought every ticket that you could you would now be on 38 points without getting any in a ballot:

So what do we think Bournemouth will go to? I’m on 63, and I’m worried.
I think (and hope) Genk may be a bit lower?

66 Bournemouth I reckon
Genk won't even go on sale
Gent however... 60, maybe 58

Seeing rumours going round that we're getting the standard allocation for Gent and it's under 1k.

Gent already have details and know what their allocation will be for their fans at our ground, hopefully we are negotiating allocation which is why we've got no info about tickets for us at theirs yet.
