According to the latest published minutes of the WHUST subcommittee on ticketing: "Away season ticket holder category no longer available but numbers are dwindling as once you leave you cannot re-join." I have no idea whether this is based on genuine insider knowledege or whether it's based on a misunderstanding of how the club operates the scheme (capping the numbers allowed to join has been a feature for several years). Has anyone seen a statement from the club on this?

If that's the club strategy to offload the ASTH, good luck.

Got at least another 20 odd seasons in me.

I just going to say my piece here to get it out of my system - ‘Not another mid-week evening fixture up north !’ I am referring to Leeds on 4th Jan, but this has been the case for a fair few of our northern fixtures I.e match finishes well after last train left for London. Away supporters treated as walk-on parts for Sunday to Saturday tv coverage. What’s going to stop this trend ? when will the PL or football ombudsperson cap the media companies ability to shape the fixture list for their benefit not for supporters? When we stop buying tickets for midweek games that we can’t get home from by a reasonable time in order to go to to work the next day. Or just maybe clubs like ours starts to run some football specials like the old days, but with toilets that work.

Blimey, thought my mate on 19 points had a sniff at an away in this country for the first time this season with the trains basically not running but clearly not.

There definitely will. Interesting to see how full that away end actually is on Boxing Day, mind you I thought the same about Liverpool and that was full.

It's not capping the numbers - the Club are not replacing anyone who chooses to leave the Away Season Ticket Scheme. This is from the Away Season Ticket Holders' rep on the ISC.

I would hope Pinky's got more than 20 years left being part of it.

Any chance wolves could be moved for TV?

Ignore that, I've just seen they've already done the TV games.

Been looking into a people carrier as there is 6 of us going together, trains all booked, as a back up plan. However, prices seem a little steep at the moment. Anyone know any good, cheap hire car companies?
