Doc.
what a good idea.
Unfortunately i doubt very much the club could cope with something so complicated

Re: Away Tickets Thread - Over Land and Sea
This match was announced so late and I have a gig Friday night and a ticket bought for a daytime event Sunday.Trieste is very pleasant (cut very windy when I did a city break this time of year four years ago.Udine is also a pleasant town from my experience.Mod Life Crisis wrote: ↑Fri Dec 02, 2022 6:45 pm Flight out Friday evening from Stansted to Trieste for less than £50 and return same route next day at 21.30 for less than £15. (These prices are as at 5pm today). Trieste to Udine by train is just over an hour and costs less than a tenner each way.
Looks like one of the more straightforward trips. Very unhappy not to be going due to pre-arranged commitments. Hope everyone who goes has a great time (he says through gritted teeth).

Whufc say Arsenal tickets started to be sent out last Wednesday...Anyone received theirs yet?Cottee wrote: ↑Sat Dec 03, 2022 10:58 am Anyone seen sight of an Arsenal ticket yet? Or am I expecting too much by thinking they’d be getting tickets out earlier due to all the strikes this month? This applies to both home and away side, you’d hope Arsenal and indeed Leeds would have provided the tickets some time ago…
Leeds to be sent out soon
Brentford cup not on sale yet
With several postal strikes and Christmas post I reckon their will be many visiting away ticket offices for duplicates.

Arsenal came yesterday, no sign of Leeds yet though. Not sure how long it takes to sort ticket details for a ground like Brentford's, the draw was 9 days ago and the kick off time sorted over the weekend.

Leeds away, got luck in the ballot today...can't be a huge demand with rail strikes, but I will take the day off and drive.
Any suggestions on what to do with parking?

Re: Away Tickets Thread - Over Land and Sea
I used to live in Leeds 40 years ago and even then match day parking near the ground was really difficult and also not in a great area to leave your car.Maybe park in a city centre car park and bus to the ground?
Re: Away Tickets Thread - Over Land and Sea
justpark or parkonmydrive.com have served me well for many away tripsLincolnshireHammer wrote: ↑Fri Dec 09, 2022 10:43 am Leeds away, got luck in the ballot today...can't be a huge demand with rail strikes, but I will take the day off and drive.

I try and find a space 15-25 minutes walk from the ground and in the direction away from the ground to best miss traffic going home.

Haven’t got mine yet. Postal strike today and Monday as well.
Can’t believe no details for Brentford cup game available to date.

It's ridiculous, even more so with all the postal strikes. Can see major issues with Leeds and Brentford.ornchurch ammer wrote: ↑Fri Dec 09, 2022 1:18 pm Can’t believe no details for Brentford cup game available to date.

Re: Away Tickets Thread - Over Land and Sea
Arsenal arrived today, now getting twitchy ref the Brentford cup game, incredible there’s no info yet, and post strikes combined with Xmas make the distribution schedule very tight. Any chance it’ll be electronic tickets ?
Re: Away Tickets Thread - Over Land and Sea
Haven't got mine.
But we haven't had any post at all this week.
Re: Away Tickets Thread - Over Land and Sea
There is a big car park oppopsite the ground. It cost about a tenner and it wasn't too bad getting away after the game the last time I went.LincolnshireHammer wrote: ↑Fri Dec 09, 2022 10:43 am Leeds away, got luck in the ballot today...can't be a huge demand with rail strikes, but I will take the day off and drive.

Re: Away Tickets Thread - Over Land and Sea
Why does it take the club so long to release details of tickets for away games?
Why do they often only give one day’s notice of sales?
Why do they send endless texts & emails trying to sell tickets for women’s matches, merchandise etc, but never to say when away tickets will be sold?
Why do they leave the ballot open for so long?
Do they know it’s Christmas soon & there are postal strikes?
Do they know that all this makes it hard for our away support, especially those who may or may not get tickets, to make travel plans?

Online
It's right at the bottom of the low priority list.
Our fans that engage in meaningful dialogue with the club should be all over it.

Re: Away Tickets Thread - Over Land and Sea
The simple answer is there's absolutely no money to be made from selling away tickets.brownout wrote: ↑Sat Dec 10, 2022 10:41 am Why does it take the club so long to release details of tickets for away games?
