Well done to all who got a ticket - that is the reward for putting in the miles. Slightly jealous that it is 30 years too late for my miles to count, but it sounds like everyone who should have been weighed out, has been, so that'll do me.

Funny you should say that, one of our six doesn't have a season ticket, didn't come to Larnaca, didn't come to Amsterdam, but just had a friend reach out to him with a spare Cat 1 ticket....much to the frustration of two of the guys that have done both journeys recently who had 23 and 22 points

Pease be very wary of resale sites. 1500 tickets listed for sale means nothing, certainly does not mean 1500 tickets are available and in hand.

Life lesson is that who you know can be more important than what you know. Frustrating for the two guys but they just need to put themselves in the other guy's shoes and be happy for him instead of being jealous.

Superb stuff.

Personally, this forum was a godsend for me when I found it in the 15/16 season. As a non-STH (couldn't afford it), I could never experience the buzz of away games until this came along and changed it all for me.

Obviously, buying spare aways would do nothing for points and so on, so obviously never had a chance to go to European aways due to the thing where only people with ID could get their tickets collected etc. But from all my away experiences, thanks 99% to the good people on this forum, I can feel just how epic this trip will be for you all.

Very pleased for the likes of Hammerman who sneaked in at the death, as well as everyone else who got a ticket and feel for those that didn't. It was always a shitty situation considering UEFA staging it in a stadium that holds just 19,000 or so.

Hard to imagine any ST holder willing to travel would have missed out if it was in even a moderately sensible stadium.

Fairly frustrating.
