On the Cup scheme priority points - do you only get the second priority point for the League Cup games if you are in the Cup scheme and the payment is taken first time?

My old card was stolen over the summer and I didn't update my card details on my Dad's account, so I got my ticket automatically but bought his online the next day when I saw only one payment had gone through and realised what had happened

I see that now I have been given 2 points for the game, but my Dad has only been given 1 point

Is there any way of getting them to update my Dads points or is the extra point not available if the renewal is not made through the Away Cup scheme? The ticket office said there was no way of making the adjustment for that point - but the websites account history system often seems to indicate the points are "added manually" which makes me wonder if they were just going for the easy option of "the computer says no" rather than telling me the truth

I've read several people say they've had the same issue with expired cards and only the one point added. Clubs response seems to be that they can't do anything.

They've cocked up so many people's cup tickets, mine included. Payment details were up to date but they didn't take payment, so I had to call on Tuesday. They admitted it was their error but were adamant they couldn't give me the extra point. Still awaiting a reply to an email I sent following it up, but they can 100% make a manual adjustment if they want to.

They've changed the goalposts now, below 46 points, it was then 41-45 to be in the same window, the 40-36 etc, but now they've just decided to make them individual hourly windows instead out of nowhere. Would suggest they're close to selling out but there will be those who were expecting to get a ticket at 1pm that are now sweating for another few hours.

Owing to extremely limited availability for this fixture, the below Loyalty Point schedule has been revised to a per-point window to ensure that tickets are awarded accordingly.
