Re: Away Tickets Thread - Over Land and Sea
If kids have the points - why should they not be there? Why should they have to go through a ballot?
Re: Away Tickets Thread - Over Land and Sea
Interesting comparison between Fulham (league) & Brentford (FA Cup).
Fulham would have gone to 39 points if it had sold out at the same percentage of maximum available points as Brentford did.
There were 193 more tickets for Brentford which would account for maybe two points.
So it seems that either there was significantly more demand for Fulham or corporates were given more tickets than they were for Brentford.

Brownout - exactly. If the tickets sell to those with high points then no problem, but it’s the lack of transparency as to what proportion of the allocation is creamed off, prior to going on sale to point holders who are not AST.

Maybe it is just the Premier League is more in demand than the FA Cup?brownout wrote: ↑Tue Mar 07, 2023 10:05 am Interesting comparison between Fulham (league) & Brentford (FA Cup).

Re: Away Tickets Thread - Over Land and Sea
There was a train strike for that Brentford away game, which was known about before the tickets went on sale, so that will undoubtedly have impacted interest.brownout wrote: ↑Tue Mar 07, 2023 10:05 am Interesting comparison between Fulham (league) & Brentford (FA Cup).

It is good to see children at games but think the question is, do they actually have the points. Obviously some will but the increased numbers of children at games like Brentford, Spurs & Brighton compared to some of the more difficult to attend games, raises the question as to whether they have the points or were just lucky in the ballot - although there was no ballot for Brentford.Julien Snow Bear wrote: ↑Tue Mar 07, 2023 9:37 am If kids have the points - why should they not be there? How random is the ballot?
We need transparency in the allocation of tickets.

Just spoke to my mate, good old Caucasian Lad - he's got a ticket in the name of an Asian Lad.
Passport numbers don't match on either ticket. Think we might have a bit of an issue here, Ladies & Gentlemen.

I’ve just got mine too, not my name or passport, for the love of god what is wrong with these people. Now I am going to have contact the ticket office from abroad, total bloody nightmare.

Just downloaded mine and seen that it’s in the wrong name, quick check of Twitter seems like we’re all in the same boat.

Yep. Add my four to the list of wrong block, wrong names, wrong rows, wrong seats.

They’ll brush it under the carpet. I’m sure they’re supposed to report any breach (which there have been plenty), let alone one on this level.

That was the first thing my Wife commented on - "Nice to know somebody's got your name and passport number".
Hopefully next time WHU TO will help out any would-be fraudster by sending my date of birth, credit/bank card and pin numbers. Must be a couple of secret answers I have stored they can publish as well.
