I bet Zoumas former pets are currently grinning like a pair of Cheshire cats at the news.

Depends on the type of injury, how much swelling and practical things like when the surgeon is availableOohAahButler wrote: ↑Thu Nov 24, 2022 9:24 pm If the surgery was to correct an ongoing long term issue (which I’m assuming) why wasn’t it done immediately after our last game?

Would have been seriously negligent to proceed before the work experience lad at Spire Roding had finished his copy of Knee Surgery for Dummies.

As someone who has had more than their fair share of knee ops I can say I’m very cautious who I’d let slice me open! If my job depended on it then I’d be even more picky. There are only a handful in the country at that level.
Hopefully it is just a clean out/minor repair as he now has the time to rehab properly.

Is that with you're spurs or west ham head on Garry . I can assure you west ham United will be fine . Once Moyes goes and go he will .

Re: ✍ Kurt Zouma
Moyes took over a badly underperforming side and turned them around to his eternal credit . But the facts are this current side is underperforming way more this squad is light years better than the 19/20 side .

Re: ✍ Kurt Zouma
I hope we haven’t ruined Kurt long term by playing him so much when he was crocked. Tip of the hat to Kurt for soldiering through the pain. Tangentially, Cornet had better be completely incapacitated for being out so long when he has teammates putting their careers on the line for the side.

It can't have been that bad or else he wouldn't have played. There have been cases in the past where a player plays on in pain when a surgery is required as the doctors say there is no chance of further damage. Just shows Kurt must be quite a tough fella though.WCpete wrote: ↑Fri Nov 25, 2022 5:35 pm I hope we haven’t ruined Kurt long term by playing him so much when he was crocked. Re: ✍ Kurt Zouma
I was under the impression Zouma had a touch of the Ledley Kings meaning he basically didn’t train and was managed to play the games at a decent level.
Wonder if the surgery was to actually fix that.

Fingers crossed mate, he's been one of our best players this season.HammerMan2004 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 25, 2022 5:55 pm I was under the impression Zouma had a touch of the Ledley Kings meaning he basically didn’t train and was managed to play the games at a decent level.

You’d hope so. But I thought it was like osteoarthritis and his knees would just dissolve over time.

Re: ✍ Kurt Zouma
I bet it was that bad. You could tell just by looking at him try to run, walk even. We didn’t have enough defenders so he did what he had to do.Ironing Board wrote: ↑Fri Nov 25, 2022 5:40 pm It can't have been that bad or else he wouldn't have played. I just thought he struggled to run as he was smuggling a pair of healthy Maris pipers..
