needs to get fined again and move on albeit with a criminal conviction.

whilst it was wrong there are far worse cases in my experience of a previous job , high profile so will promote the RSPCA .

8k fine banned from keeping cats and a crim record.

From Ex just now…

There is good news however and we believe that Kurt Zouma is ahead of schedule in his injury recovery. The club have received the positive news that he could feature in coming weeks and that he will be able to resume training now (and has today). Whilst a match comeback date hasn’t been confirmed we believe it could come much sooner than first feared. This is the second time that Zouma has made a quicker recovery than normal. The club also hope that Diop and Ogbonna can do the same but at this point Zouma seems the closest.

1st leg with a bit of luck, although looking at the 23’s it might be Sunday as Alese is playing.

If it’s true he only just returned to training yesterday, no chance. It’ll be next Sunday’s game against the Gooners, if we are lucky. But more likely it’ll be after that.

I believe yesterday was Diops first day back and Zoumas 2nd, it was only the 3rd proper training session since 12th April so is slightly screwed compared to our normal schedule.

I think he’ll play in the first leg on Thursday, he has only been out a couple of weeks so really he wouldn’t have lost much fitness at all.

For all his issues, a wonderful signing. An absolute rock at the back.

If he comes through a training session without complications then at this stage of the season general fitness isn’t an issue. However if it were me, I’d put all of my chips on Thursday evening and forget Chelsea.

Why would he train for nearly 2 weeks and then play in the 2nd leg ?
If he can train without breaking down now, he plays doesn’t he ?

He had a bad injury and it takes time to come back to full training. He has only done a few days ! return too soon and he will miss all the season.
I would think he may get some minutes against arsenal with a view for a return in the away leg. hopefully !

Return too late and there’s no season to play for. If it is indeed true that he’s back training again after a couple of weeks, his injury can’t have been that severe or a career threatener.

If he is training and not feeling any pain/reaction to the injury then I think he will play on Thursday night. I’m sure the player is eager to play in a semi final and the final league games. If we can somehow get a result today (and a bit of luck wolves lose) - it sets things up nicely.

Not sure if we're being overly optimistic about Zouma's return. I think the hope is that he might be back for the last couple of games of the season rather than being ruled out for the season entirely.

Unless there's been some other news barring Ex's vague-ish tease?

If Zouma stated training on Friday I’d hope worst case he’d be back for the second leg against Frankfurt.

If you’re feeling optimistic you might hope he’ll be back for the first leg. He won’t have lost much match fitness in the couple weeks he’s had off, certainly not enough to a rookie CB over him.
