Re: ✍ Kurt Zouma
That's what a few people are saying. Apparently back in full training.
If that's the case I would expect him to play on Thursday. Think original diagonis was 4 weeks so his return would be a week earlier.

Re: ✍ Kurt Zouma
Is he crocked?
Last few games he's looked very slow and immobile. Definitely looked like he was limping for a lot of the game yesterday, same against Luton, iirc.

I think Antonio has taught him how to run at a rapid pace whilst still managing to look like you're carrying about 12 knocks.

He's just trying to fit in with all our other CB's to be fair.
All for one, and one for all.

posted at the time on the m-t yesterday that the view from behind the goal, when they broke for their 2nd, he really looked like he was noticeably limping trying to run back and cover.Monkeybubbles wrote: ↑Mon Aug 08, 2022 9:27 am Is he crocked?

Re: ✍ Kurt Zouma
I'll bring it up again...
At times today, Zouma looked like he was pulling a sled of supplies across the Arctic. What's going on with him? Has he struggled to recover from last season's knee injury and hence a perma-crock, is he just disinterested or is there something else going on?
Am I forgetting that this is what we got from Zouma last season, or am I right in thinking that this is an alarming slide in performance for a £30mn defender?

I might be losing my mind but he makes a tackle or a run then seemingly starts hobbling. I think he looks uncomfortable at times even just moving the ball side to side, and not as bad as Diop but he looks uncomfortable out there at times none the less.
I haven't looked at stats or anything it's just my perception/opinion of him.
I have higher hopes for Aguerd and I hope Zouma can play well along side him.

Re: ✍ Kurt Zouma
I reckon he is playing with an injury to help us out. Probably needs an op at some point.

Re: ✍ Kurt Zouma
I can't remember the last time he made an early tackle and didn't come up hobbling.
Still a quality defender though. Even if he is a ****.

Re: ✍ Kurt Zouma
Something’s not right with him. Great in the air, but constantly looks injured/unfit, with a strange running style and doesn’t look like he’s working at full tilt.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s moved on next summer…

Exactly what I was saying! Except I don't think he's quality, capable at times but there is something not right.HammerMan2004 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 16, 2022 1:07 pm I can't remember the last time he made an early tackle and didn't come up hobbling.
