Re: ✍ Kurt Zouma
can't have helped having to have to switch sides and have a revolving door CB pairing alongside him, one of whom is pretty much rubbish...(and I don't mean Dawson)

Back to the football - he’s been solid as a rock of late. If he and Dawson had better fullbacks we’d be conceding very few goals.

He was very good Saturday, agree. If he, along with Dawson, hadn't been on their game we would likely have lost that gameIroning Board wrote: ↑Mon Feb 21, 2022 4:38 pm Back to the football - he’s been solid as a rock of late. If he and Dawson had better fullbacks we’d be conceding very few goals.

Being cancelled has been good for him football wise, maybe it has refocused the mind (losing large sponsorship contracts can do that)Ironing Board wrote: ↑Sun Feb 27, 2022 4:21 pm Another towering performance. Arguably the best player in the team at the moment.

Yeah, no doubt he's responded very well. Hasn't let it drag him down, he's just improved his focus and concentrated on playing as well as possible.

Was doing the archetypal keep it simple today...ball comes in...smashes it away...comes in again... smashes it away...never flustered, never stretched.

Re: ✍ Kurt Zouma
People seem to have completely forgotten are instead praising his performance.
Had a look online and even other club's fans are saying he's a monster.

What are people supposed to do? Vilify him for life? He's been punished, fined 2 weeks wages (the most allowed), faced world wide condemnation and lost a lot of money via sponsorships. Time to move on.Bubbles Fortuna wrote: ↑Sun Feb 27, 2022 5:08 pm People seem to have completely forgotten are instead praising his performance.

Re: ✍ Kurt Zouma
I was making a joke that the people referring to him as a monster due to what happened were referring to him as a monster because of his performance today.

Re: ✍ Kurt Zouma
Fair enough, I missed that completely. I read it as we shouldn't be praising him because he IS a monster. Apologies (though I bet somewhere in the Twitter-sphere that point is being made)Bubbles Fortuna wrote: ↑Sun Feb 27, 2022 5:16 pm I was making a joke that the people referring to him as a monster due to what happened were referring to him as a monster because of his performance today.
