Should have freshened it up Southgate , some of them players look spent. But it was a rough and tumble game proper football.

Dixon is turning into Lawro.

His negative, boring punditry is tedious to say the least.

Draw, being 4 points clear, plus our remaining fixtures (home to Hungary and Albania, away to San Marino and Andorra) mean we’re basically there already. We’d realistically have to lose two of those for Poland, Hungary or Albania to overtake us, and I can’t see that happening.

Few performances there that were well below par, Grealish what the f*** does this poser do, Sterling poor, Walker *****, Mount done not a lot, Kane apart from the goal was everywhere but in the box.

It shows what can happen when you get a chance to cross the ball and you actually cross it, instead of dicking about playing pretty patterns near the touchline.

Probably the correct score.

Had we had eleven on the pitch as opposed to ten plus Grealish things might have been different.

Ah well, still top of the group and looking likely to qualify.

Worst England performance for quite some time. Well, since early stages of the euros anyway.

Really, winning out there in Eastern Europe with a dodgy ref is hard, they did well tonight.

A game we would have lost in past. Southgate had a wake up call on subs there.

I thought England were okay. Not fantastic, but decent enough.

Away to Poland is a tough game. People weirdly seem to expect us to spank everyone and if we don’t it’s automatically a crap performance.

Since 2019 Poland have only lost at home once, and the likes of Italy have gone there and failed to win.

A draw is fine.

It's about making the step up though, we need to do better if we are ever going to win the Euros or World Cup again.

Not really.

In qualifiers it’s about qualifying, and we will do that.

In this qualifying campaign Italy have drawn twice (including a draw at home to Bulgaria), Germany have lost to North Macedonia, Spain to Sweden, France have failed to beat Bosnia, and so on.

But all of the above will qualify, and so will England, comfortably.
