It was a humbling experience reading his farewell post, hammerleroy /Geoff was an incredibly brave man. I am so sorry he has gone, he was a really good poster and proper West Ham. RIP Geoff and my condolences to all who loved you.

I admired and respected his posts in the other thread so much. What a brave gentleman.

RIP hammerleroy

Ps I’m wondering if in the future when everyone has given their condolences wheather this and the other thread could be merged and put in hall of fame (if not already done). Everyone should read that 👍

Very very sad. His words in his final post were heartbreaking and brave.
I’m very pleased that he got to meet his grandson.

DL - That's a wonderful tribute article.

RIP Geoff - As a non-frequent user of the site my only knowledge of you was the recent thread you started about your illness but that was enough to tell me what a brave and brilliant man you were. Condolences to the family.

RIP Hammerleroy. I had lost my dad only a short time before your humbling message and I took solace from reading it at that difficult time. God bless.
