My son loves it. I watched a bit, but turned off when I realised it wasn't cowboys and Indians.

Seems like it!

I read something that said in this series West Ham are favourites for the title and plucky, erm, Richmond are expected to get relegated. I'm sure that will play out well for us.

A little surprised to see Betway featuring so prominently. Would have thought that might cause them some issues with international broadcast and rules around betting advertising.

The equivalent of Good Morning Britain etc

Sat there wearing a West Ham shirt
To be honest I’ve never watched Ted Lasso so not sure it was for character or he’s an actual fan

Sadly not, Apple paid West Ham United somewhere between £110,000 - £150,000 for use of intellectual property in the series.

Apparently he doesn’t even like football.

We usually are, aren't we? Sean Bean will be sat at home in front of every episode, giving it:

I thought season 3 episode 1 was terrible and lacked all the charm of the earlier stuff, but I am a miserable b*stard.

Not the best start to a new season but thought it was just laying the ground for what's to come.

Mild improvement today, although it appears we’re trying to sign Ibrahimovic.

He’s signed for Richmond after being insulted by their owner.

I think they’ve foreshadowed what’s going to happen at the end of the series in Ep 2. I reckon this will be the last one.

I still can’t quite work out if it was written for a predominantly US or UK audience. The football stuff is laughably inaccurate, even Brits who don’t follow the Prem know that clubs don’t operate as they do in the show, so that makes me wonder if it’s really aimed towards septic viewers.

Edit - written for the yanks, and very popular there, by all accounts.

You definitely have to disengage your football brain...players in the dressing room calling someone a second teamer rather than being stuck in the reserves or the stiffs for example.

Just wanted to say that this has quickly become one of my favourite shows.

The way they’ve handled mental health has been very sympathetic and really accurate in my opinion.

There’s also other points which I think are brave but I’ll not spoil them for anyone.

Coach Beard and Trent Crimm (the independent) are great characters. Roy Kent steals the show.

Can’t wait to see how it all goes.

Really? I thought this season has really turned to sh*t. Boring, morality stuff each week, focussing on the wrong characters.

S3 has been the weaker of the set.

Still enjoying it though.
