Blimey you would put your house on Woakes holding that. He doesn't drop many.

Shame but I reckon the ball is as slippery as an eel out there. They all look soaking wet.

Didn’t cost, out plumb shortly after.

unusually for Woakes, and England in the main he has dropped a bit of a dolly. Game on, Sri Lankans ahead of us at same point, but then who will be there Jos Buttler? Could be close this!

Woakes gets his man! Was going for a few runs so relieves the pressure.

No, bowled some hitable stuff recently. Neither Mills, Woakes or Livingstone great. Mills injured , need to find his overs now.

Mills does struggle with injuries sadly...par for the course for England's fast bowlers (Wood, Archer, Stone etc).

Amazing work from Roy but it might not be enough. Batting second seems just too much of an advantage in the Middle East.

Buttler!!! When your hot…. Great skills.

As David Lloyd would say "Start the car...."

Good work out for England, worrying that they seemed to bowl a boundary ball every over (Rashid aside) .

Never in doubt :)

Jos - what a man. :starst:

172 not out (99 balls) from his last two innings.

Ive always rated his batting, but JB's keeping seems to have gone up a notch or two. (arguably, in the most difficult form of the game). Should he keep the gloves for the Ashes?

Betting would take you that way, best 2 sides in the tournament so far but have we both peaked a little early?? India still may get 2nd (but I doubt it), so we may have to beat India & Pakistan to win it.

2 bits of great fielding to change the game last night, was 50/50 for me up to then.

Looks that way on form, however the toss is far to important the games should be either in the day time or later (so the dew hinders both sides) but TV dictates the terms as always.

If England lose the toss and bat first against New Zealand (for example) I don't fancy our chances.

As for today - strong win for South Africa, does good things to their NRR.. puts pressure on Aus to win well now.

Funny it is the flattest of flat tracks... can't have those world class Afghan spinners causing problems can we?

India won't make the semis. Not even if they destroy Scotland today (which they should).

Crunch time in Group A today

WI v Aus first up.

West Indies out (but need to win to keep their world ranking in the top 8), Aus need to win (or they will rely on England, even then it will come down to NRR if SA beat England big)

Chris Gayle (likely) and Dwayne Bravo leaving the international stage today, double T20 World Cup winners.
