Re: 'Invalid' notice/privacy note/login issues [Updated 12/1]
I had a purple patch yesterday during the match because I switched to using my company's google account. It lasted for a few hours then it shut down as well. I no longer can log on from my phone or ipad. I have the best chance of successfully logging on while the UK are asleep in the middle of the night. I was able to log on just now, but it won't last more than a few minutes.

The issue is completely random. Worked fine Wednesday and most of yesterday , this morning failed again so just ended up deleting posts on the cricket as they were out of date 2 hours later.
The browsing clearance etc doesn't seem to do anything. I can't post, come back 5 hours later and it works again then goes off.

Re: 'Invalid' notice/privacy note/login issues [Updated 12/1]
^^^Exactly where I'm at with it at present S-H; indeed, it's where I've been with it pretty much since I started experiencing issues approx three weeks ago. Logged in (avatar and user name still visible at the top of the page) but not logged in (name not showing among the "Who is Online" list at the bottom of the page), and can't post or log out to log back in until I've cleared cache and cookies. Then, after all that, actually logging in seems to be a question of persistence. Just keep pressing Log In, keep getting the Invalid warning, keep pressing Log In, keep getting the Invalid warning, keep pressing Log In, keep getting the Invalid warning, keep pressing Log In etc etc etc until, eventually: YES! I'M IN!
It's all very strange. Sometimes (like as with the above) it feels like a session timeout issue; other times, it feels like an issue with swapping between devices; once or twice, it's felt to me to be related to "like" notifications (the boss assures me that's definitely not the case, for the record, and in fairness he's roughly 10,000 times more tech-savvy than I am).
As it stands, persistence is the key. Clear your cache, clear your cookies, keep stabbing that Log In button. It's not ideal and it's not a permanent fix but UtJ and his tech gremlins are still working the problem.

I did wonder if the mods were also effected by this issue, or if you had special accounts that make you immune..
Clearly you're not as special as wilko, as he assures me this is the case..

We're not immune, we've all had issues with it to varying degrees and at different times. UtJ very much included. I hadn't had an issue on my phone since Wednesday evening, until finding myself once again randomly logged-in-but-not-really this morning. One cookie/cache clearing and five stabs at the log in button later, I'm in. Weird.

Awful news for everybody else........but I've managed to log in.
I had a tremendous joke lined up for the Cambridge defeat of Newcastle.
Now I feel the time to release it has gone.....and thus, it's impact would be lost.
Very, very frustrating as it was absolute quality......

I don't know if it may help but I'm going to post the times (approx) when I logged in and the times I wasn't able to - maybe the timing will be of some significance, especially if it matches with others' experiences: blue = success; red = "invalid submission"...

Very hit and miss as to whether I can sign in or not. There doesn't seem to be any particular pattern or method to it either.

Re: 'Invalid' notice/privacy note/login issues [Updated 12/1]
The last few days have been better in the sense that I have been able to log in. But I am still finding myself locked out pretty much on a daily basis, and despite trying and despite trying all the suggestions in the OP, I can't really see what it is that makes the difference.

Re: 'Invalid' notice/privacy note/login issues [Updated 12/1]
I was logged-in-but-not-really again this morning (and again this afternoon), both times after having left my phone for a significant period of time. BUT. Instead of having to clear cache/cookies in order to log out properly, followed by a dozen random login attempts in the hope one of them will work, I just logged out, and logged right back in, and that was that. That's not how it's worked previously - previously, I don't think I'd been logged out once in fifteen years - but it's good enough that, if that's how it stayed, I'd be fine with it.
Fingers crossed.

Unable to log in after foolishly logging out earlier.
Tried on incognito mode (as I've seen it suggested) and it worked!!
What does this mean?

Re: 'Invalid' notice/privacy note/login issues [Updated 12/1]
Visited KUMB about half hour ago on my laptop, which I almost never use these days. I was logged out but I logged straight in, no problem (Windows 10, Chrome).
Just tried to get on via my mobile (Android) and found myself once again logged-in-but-not, on three browsers: Chrome, Opera and Firefox, the latter two of which I only installed to see if they made any difference with these problems on KUMB. As ever, couldn't log out to log back in because "the request didn't match your session" or something. But, instead of going through the cache-clearing rigmarole yet again, I just attempted to post something and, voilà, I'm in! Worked on all three browsers.
So, today, I've found myself kicked out of the site three times, but I've got back on with next-to no problem each time. I mean I wish it was more stable in general but I guess that's progress, right? If we can get back in pretty easily?

Re: 'Invalid' notice/privacy note/login issues [Updated 12/1]
Thought I'd fixed it with password change on Wednesday, then had a few days of darkness.
Opened the forum today and was already logged out (typically I have been auto logged in but unable to post).
Logged on first time tonight though and posting fine.

This may, or may not be relevant - but I tried logging in on my iPhone using safari and had the invalid form message but could immediately login to my account with an Edge browser
