Had this also intermittently today but I put it down to my location/VPN dropping out.

After no problems for weeks, this has been been an absolute shitter over the last 24 hours with regular problems signing on. As several others have also suddenly been reporting the issue, UtJ - it's clearly not a problem arising from the user end!

This problem has reared its ugly head again over the last 1-2 days. Takes many, many attempts to login at mo.

Same here. Seems to occur just when I’ve thought of a brilliant riposte. I find I’m logged out and my credentials are not accepted.

Signed in via a different browser on my laptop.
Closed that, and came back to my usual browser, and signed in first time..

Re: Solved: 'Invalid' notice/privacy note/login issues
Invalid Form again when trying to post. It won't let me log out. Same problem as before seems to have come back.
If I clear the KUMB cookies, it then logs me out and I can get back in and hopefully post this!

Have to leave the site, come back in and keep trying.

Re: Solved: 'Invalid' notice/privacy note/login issues
Not even the devs have an answer for this intermittent issue at present.
Yet if you give it ten minutes and try again, you'll almost certainly be able to log in.
Not an ideal solution, but until the error is resolved via a patch/upgrade this is all I can offer you.

Not something like a change of server or something? I have no tech knowledge (as will be obvious ) but it seems strange it flared up again after many weeks with no problems.

Re: Solved: 'Invalid' notice/privacy note/login issues
Had this on and off over the weekend. Not sure if it helps but I couldn't log out either to log back in. Just got an unable to log out as the session doesn't match - or words to that effect

Re: Solved: 'Invalid' notice/privacy note/login issues
@UTJ,
I've just had a message which might give a clue to your devs.
I was getting the invalid form message and tried to logout to clear it - and it was refused with a message which said something along the lines of "unable to logout as the session does not match the identity" (sorry, didn't capture the exact message, will do better if I see it again!)
Sounds like maybe the session id linked to a particular connection is being corrupted or maybe assigned to another connection (thereby buggering both of them)? Maybe the wrong session token being passed on to an endpoint?

Re: Solved: 'Invalid' notice/privacy note/login issues
Thanks Kludge. I can confirm the issue is cookie related - next time it happens (hopefully not at all, but) you'll notice you get assigned a new session ID every time you attempt to log in which shouldn't happen.Kludgehammer wrote: ↑Mon Jun 27, 2022 3:29 pm Sounds like maybe the session id linked to a particular connection is being corrupted or maybe assigned to another connection (thereby buggering both of them)? Re: Solved: 'Invalid' notice/privacy note/login issues
A quick post for those of you having trouble logging in.
We (me and our dev team) are still unable to locate the source of this issue which is a very unusual one, given that it is intermittent and only crops up once in a blue moon - which makes it even more difficult to fix.
Until such time as it is resolved, my advice is as follows:
1.Close the browser on which you are viewing KUMB. This has to be the whole browser, not just the tab on which you're viewing KUMB.
2. Leave it for five to ten minutes and then try logging in again.
Occasionally you may have to wait a little longer but you will be able to log in eventually. This is not a permanent issue.
My apologies for the inconvenience this is causing.

I cant even make a post anymore, been trying all day - lets see if it works now.
Edit: now randomly it works with no invalid message.
