Autumn internationals
Good to see the French ref give NZ the usual benefit of the doubt officiating their game against wales. Clear, deliberate knock on stops a promising Welsh counter, no yellow for Barrett. Much as I’m no fan of Welsh sport, it is highly tedious to witness the officials give so much support to the precious kiwis.

Interesting Amazon have purchased the rights to stream all of these. Potentially a sign of things to come.

Aye and plenty of complaints on Twitter about choppy feeds etc. been pretty stable for me, but I can imagine for anyone with crap bandwidth it could get annoying.

Flawless for me on my Samsung tv via built in app (Amazon always is for me). 500mb virgin though so should be.

Good win against a very poor Tonga side today, especially nice to see a few of the young blokes put in strong performances.
I'm off to Twickenham for both the Aussies and SA which will be very interesting for the new look side

Good professional performance from England.
Tonga weren't great but they were stronger than against Scotland last week.
Fantastic try saving tackle from Laws as well.

Will be there for the Saffers. A few pre/post match beers in Whitton is the order of the day!westhamgardner wrote: ↑Sat Nov 06, 2021 5:39 pm Good win against a very poor Tonga side today, especially nice to see a few of the young blokes put in strong performances.

Re: Autumn internationals
There is a brilliant game of rugby on at the moment between Ireland and The All Blacks with time running out and Ireland just extending their lead to 6 points. Really enjoying this

Dislike Australia immensely. Cmon England. Let’s hope putting an established centre on the wing is a good idea

Re: Autumn internationals
A good result yesterday against the Aussies, but can’t help feel from watching it there that Eddie’s oddness is hampering England. I know he’s not one for convention but playing a world class flanker at 8 when you’ve got Dombrandt and Simmonds on the bench plus shoehorning Farrell in regardless of whether it makes any sense or not definitely doesn't feel like it’s making the best of the players available.
Excellent from Ireland, NZ definitely look beatable, their basics are not what it they were by any means. Hopefully for Ireland they don’t do what they’ve done in previous World Cup cycles and peak a year too early!

Re: Autumn internationals
Might as well swap the Aussies out of the autumn internationals for someone more competitive like Argentina or Japan.
How many games against them is that now? Unbeaten vs them since WC in 2015, in I think 8 games?
Saw bits of Ireland being NZ who I thought looked quite average.

Re: Autumn internationals
What a 2nd half and last 15 minutes that was!
Those SA tactics are pretty ugly to watch when they're well on top as a casual fan but there's something special about seeing the other team stand up and give it back to them.

Re: Autumn internationals
Bewildering match. So much going on. Terrible discipline from our lads but what superstars Smith and Steward are already. Great signs for the future. Needed a lie-down after that.
