We looked completely knackered at the 60 minute mark the other night.
Other than the great goal we conceded in the 89th minute I thought we played our best football during the game in the final 15 minutes of normal time. If anyone looked like scoring a winning goal, it was us.

Possibly, but we still looked shattered in my view, especially Rice, Mickey and Soucek who I think are running on empty currently.

The top 3 are miles ahead of the rest at the moment, and everyone else is a bit rubbish

I think Spurs will get top 4 simply because Conte will get them hard to beat and consistent, and they will spend some money in January

Man U are the obvious candidates but i don't think they will be consistent enough

We will be close to 4th but i think are competing for 6th with Arsenal and Leicester (and maybe another surprise team)

Never top 6 on our current form.

Our championship forward line is showing it's origins at the moment.

We peaked early this season with good momentum, a team which gelled and a one or two players who hit a rich vein of form.

Now we're rapidly running out of steam whilst Spurs, Man U and Arsenal have been through their bad spells and are revving up fast.

A lot depends on the January transfer window. I'm putting my faith in Rob Newman and his team beavering away behind the scenes.

I think we've done incredibly well with the players we've got. Moyes thinks there is more to come, but he also sees us as a longer-term project. If it all comes together - investment and attracting some real quality we could be strong top four contenders.

I sometimes think we're expecting this side to emulate Clough's Forest - watching the Netflix documentary reminded me that the bloke was a genius. Similarly Leicester wining the league was a once-in-a-generation event.

On our day we can beat anyone (eg Liverpool just a few weeks ago). But over the course of a season we can't compete with teams that have ££££££££ and some of the best managers in the world.

Arsenal, Spurs and Man Utd are all in the mix. We can still make 4th of course but we need fresh legs in January and luck with injuries.

I'd take 8th and winning the Europa League though.....

We're 4th.

As in for the whole of 2021.

Unless by current form you mean three league games, in which case, bit harsh. Small sample size that.

Personally I'd take 5th and win the Europa, Caribou and FA Cup. That'll do me.

Because just in case anyone hadn't noticed, we are quite massive

The thing with Spurs is they will probably improve at some point. They haven't even been great under Conte, but managed 2 wins against really poor opposition. A half of a Leeds team who couldn't defend with a very lucky goal. A Brentford team who look ***** and I'm still disappointed we lost to them. They have Norwich next and will probably do enough to beat them. I don't think Spurs are that good, but if they are going to beat all the teams they should, even without playing well, it might be good enough if they spend in January and improve.

I don't think we should worry too much atm. We haven't been great, but our 2 defeats were single goal ones away to decent sides and a draw against Brighton. I do think Moyes needs to change it a bit more. The same line up constantly if things aren't always working shouldn't really happen. Lanzini is pushing for a start, Diop in for Dawson and Vlasic should start getting more minutes. Of course we could do with adding a couple in January, but Moyes should start using the squad he has.

The thing with Spurs is in spite of how crap they've been they're still ticking over the 1-0 and 2-1 wins against lesser teams, and are only 2 points behind us with a game in hand (vs Burnley).

We have picked up the same number of points from the last 4 that we did from the same games last year. We finished 6th.

We'll lose tomorrow and it will still be the same, except from 5 games.

We haven't played well in most of our recent games, but we're still 4th.

We'll click back into gear at some point, and we still have three of the bottom 4 to play before halfway.

Spurs and Arsenal's form against top 12 teams is abysmal - 11 losses in 18.

Only Norwich and Wolves have scored less goals than Spurs.

They will surely have to improve that to maintain any challenge for top 6.

We will be in and around the race for a European spot. If we get it or not will be close but giving away late goals at home to the like of Brentford and Brighton do not help the cause. Still all of the current bottom 8 have to come to the LS, win a significant majority of those and we will be there or thereabouts.

If 'not losing' dictated the CL places - Brighton would be in Europe. They're top 4 on that score

Opponents not yet played

West Ham United: Chelsea, Arsenal, Watford, Burnley, Norwich,
Tottenham: Liverpool, Brighton, Leicester, Southampton, Burnley, Norwich
Arsenal: West Ham, Wolves, Everton, Leeds, Southampton
Manchester United: Brighton, Crystal Palace, Brentford, Burnley, Norwich

The Arsenal game is pivotal for us. It's the must-not-lose game.

Not ManU or Arsenal on the basis of last nights performance by both teams. I think Wolves is a bigger threat to us taking 4th than either of those two.

December will make or break us I think.

Then we desperately need the cavalry in January
Saying that, if we truly want a quality/world class forward, surely that geezer would've been playing every week so stamina would be the same issue...or am I wrong?

At some point Kane and Son will start firing again. it is only a matter of time
I expect they will spend money on another attacking player in January to replace Moura/ Bergwijn and that will help them score more
