I reckon we go with a false 9. Formals/Bowen and Benrahma all swapping positions when they feel like it and then bring on Antonio for the last 20 minutes to win the game.

If we started Antonio he would likely have 70+ minutes to win the game!

He was looking leggy after 30 minutes tonight. Needs a bit of a rest imo.

I hope Moyesie isn't overly cautious in this one. Show them respect but not too much. If Bowen, Fornals and Bennie (and fabianski) are on we could get something out of this.

I expect a defeat here. I am still looking at a one-in-25-years situation, in terms of overall achievement, and actually believe we will either get 5th or lift a cup this season.

But still expect defeat this weekend.

Anything else is just another layer of filling in the tastiest burger outside the ground I have ever had.

0-0 until an extremely dodgy decision goes against us costing a pen, with a certain Mr Salah involved.

Recent results in the league takes the pressure off this to a certain extent.

Let’s give it everything before the international break.

We are certainly capable of beating these.

For me having a go at Liverpool is being brave in receiving and using the ball.

It's not going gung ho at them as leaving space in behind for the likes of Salah, jota and mane will likely end in tears.

I would expect Moyes to sit us deep and try to break, it's the right thing to do; but when we get chances to counter them we need to be positive, aggressive and do so with purpose.

Fornals, Mike and Manu have each previously scored important goals against these and Salah more often than not nets

The last ten games have been draw, 4 losses, draw, 4 losses so we're due for a draw.

Up unto Wednesday night I thought the mickeys were not as good as many were saying, with TAA & particularly Salah's goals/assists covering up some small cracks in their midfield/defence, then they played Atletico and for the first 30mins they looked back to their best.

Still think we can get at their defence, but Fabinho returning and it's like us getting Rice back in the side, for me he really makes them tick.

We go into the game full of confidence, respect them but don't roll over please! Brave on the ball as we counter. We should fear know one and I think we will give it a go and just maybe...

I think we will turn up for this game and have a real go at it. The lads are flying high and full of confidence of late.

I wouldn't be surprised if we nick it by the odd goal

I agree it's a bridge to far we will not have the ball probably about 35 to 40% of the ball but you never know moyes might have something up his sleeve buy Liverpool are a good team also we at to play alot of our 1st team yesterday which I was hoping we did not have to plus they have had a extra day and did not travel so its a Liverpool win for me

All the dippers on redandwhitekop predicting them to win by a few goals.

The level of entitlement amongst their fans really is a level above.

An absolutely detestable club from top to bottom. I'd love nothing more than to beat these shitstains. Unfortunately with Fabinho coming back they look about full strength and in great form. We'll need to be at our very best to get something.

The most accurate statement ever made on this website. UTJ may as well shut the place down.
