Has anyone actually been to Alexandra Palace for the Worlds? It looks like an experience to avoid, the "kolo/yaya" chant just came out again

This is the first year I’ve not been since 2010. Managed to get along three times last year. I really enjoy it, particularly if you manage to get decent matches over the best of 7/9 sort of match length

Price has come out to play in a pair of ear defenders now.

Absolutely comical this, crowd clearly getting to him, can't help but think he'd have never won this tournament if he'd had the crowd to face that year

Strange thing with Price, the crowd wasn't that bad toward him last night. Right little princess behaving like that.

They weren't until he pulled that stunt. Now saying "he might not compete in this tournament ever again" but you'd think he will be getting grief wherever he plays now. Confirmation, if ever it was needed, that he can be wound up easily

Good even game tonight so far in Smith vs Clemens. Got a lot of time for Clemens but I want to see Smith with the tournament...

Van Gerwen leaves 144 after 6, misses the D12.
(same leg...)
In steps Smith, on 141 after 6, takes it out for the 9 darter. Absolutely unreal standard

This is something else. Absolute pleasure to watch these two do battle.

What a final.

Thought Smith was going to take that 5th leg and with it the title, MVG taking advantage of some loose darts and on it goes………

I used to go to the Tavern every Christmas before they moved it here. Did the first year at Ally Pally and refused to ever go back.

Never has there ever been such a collection of helmets in one place.

What a final leg from Smith. A fitting finish for a great final.

Delighted for Smith, both looked like they were going towards the end there, incredible standard.

That is pretty much spot on Billy, IMHO
I used to love the Circus Tavern and the BDO at Frimley Green was quality 20 years ago

For anyone that didn’t see that leg, it would be easy to consider that as a bit of hyperbole, but it is absolutely on the money.

Simply stunning, and oh how I would have loved to heard the late great Sid Waddell commentating on that last night.

That leg was a level of excellence I'm not sure I've ever witnessed before in sport.

If the Dutch guy had got his double 12, would Smith still have had a shot at his own 9-darter?
