Bet Conte’s kicking himself for not holding out for a few weeks.

They want Zidane don’t they? Lovely footballer, suspect Man Utd will be a completely different challenge to the one he had at Real Madrid.

It will be interesting to see what a halfway decent coach can do with Sancho. I think he will end up being one of the best players on the planet with the right guidance.

Will be interesting to see who they line up next.

I just looked at the betting.

Two of the favorites in the Top 4 are already apart of United Coaching team.(Carrick & Fletcher).Everything that is wrong at the top of the club. They haven't got a bloody clue.

It does the teams chasing a top 4 place a favour if one of them got it.

They should be going out to get the very BEST.

The problem has been for ages he isn't good but isn't awful, came 2nd, rejected a cup final etc

Zidane doesn't speak English
Rangick seems the obvious choice till the end of the season

Also looking at the Manchester United coaching staff this is why it drives me crazy when people suggest ex players like oh Rio would be good as a defensive coach for us, no! At least Nolan and Pearce have gone away both done a few managers job and more rounded

They’ll get Zidane but it would be the funniest thing EVER if Conte left spurs this soon to go to Man Utd.

It’s so embarrassing watching the former players give their opinion on him. Anyone else from any other club and they’d be calling out what an awful manager Solskjaer was.

And last night Neville said their English players were having a Euros burn out. Which is even more hilarious when you watch the likes of Rice strutting his stuff.

All that travelling to Wembley and back must have surely taken its toll. It’s definitely the reason why Maguire, Sancho, Rashford and Shaw have been ****ing useless. Nothing to do with inept management and coaching by his mate at their club side.

Whoever takes over I think has a huge problem. They currently have a squad of vastly over paid under performing dysfunctional 'super stars'. It really needs a big clear out and pretty much starting again. They may of course get a bit of a bounce from any new Manager, but will his job entail trying to get these 'super stars' to play together (and earn their massive salaries) or to win games where most of them should be nowhere near the first team. The real problem is the Management hierarchy at the club not the Coach They buy off of a 'Price List' rather than to fit a strategy. Zidane is probably the right choice, as he is a bigger personality than the current 'super stars' and can be ruthless, but would he be allowed to be? Conte? No way, just more of the same I feel as he would just want to throw more money at it.

I think I disagree with this. A fairly decent coach would have them safely in the top 4. Hopefully for the rest of us peasants it’ll be a caretaker until the summer.

I'm hearing that they're already announcing that the next bloke in is 'interim' until the end of the season.

That, to me, is a crazy idea which will leave them, with that ridiculous wage bill, only 50-50 chance to be competing in Europe next season.

Disagree with that. A proper manager comes in and they’ve players who will have them finishing top 4. Players like Rashford, Sancho and Ronaldo don’t have a reputation for being c****.
