You need to be careful, very soon tennis elbow will develop into a Bakers Cyst, Housemaids knee and eventually Brewers Droop.

I had golfers elbow (the same as Tennis Elbow but the other side of the joint).
I went to the physio and they gave me some exercises that really helped. It still took a long time to heal though.

This is no help to you at all, but about 20 years ago I had a painful elbow that would wake me up at night. Had just started an IT job. Doc examined it gently feeling around the joint. Diagnosed it as a classic repetitive strain injury and wrote me a sick note. I noticed at the time that he had a really calm manner about him. Walked out of the consultation room and it never hurt again.

More practically for you:

Strengthening exercises as advised by a physio, simple rest won’t cure it. I also had a course of acupuncture and am convinced that made the difference for me.

I’ve had a stomach upset over the last 24 hours. Pretty sure it is Ebola.

The good thing is that if I survive I will probably have lost a bit of weight.

I'm still trying to work out whether I have simply torn my lower ab muscles or got myself a small hernia again. I shouldn't have done those decline sit-ups - big mistake!

Mate, my entire family (and kids friends) been suffering last two weeks. I thought I was in the clear until 2am this morning and then my body decided to get in on the action.

Guessing it is norovirus, but by god it’s not nice!

It is horrible. My youngest had it last weekend, the rest of us felt a bit queasy but looked to be in the clear. As my old boss used to describe it, two exits, no waiting.

I just managed most of a slice of toast. It was quite a challenge. I can also almost trust a fart now

We've just gotten over it, literally a 12 hour thing though, so bizarre.

It was a relief to be able to trust a fart again.

I'm wondering whether, in this age of massive NHS waiting lists, and the fact I'm approaching 50, it may be prudent to buy private health insurance that covers me and my partner. It's not cheap but, when I look at the amount of money I waste each month, it's doable and it seems like money better spent. I could probably raise most of the money quite quickly by cancelling a few services that I don't really use much or care about much.

Fingertips turning blue.

Crushing wrist pain, and this weather is causing my arthritis to be worse.

Only a week until my doctors appointment so hopefully they can help.

Tomorrow they begin to have an in depth delve into my heart probs.
Thing is, given one of the main symptoms is apparently overwhelming lethargy, unsurprisingly it took a while to correctly diagnose.
It's a strange feeling, if I need another little op (stents/laser/pacemaker /etc) I'm not too bothered, but if it's major stuff /nil by mouth /DNR/'Nurse, just wipe the sweat off my brow' /etc, I think I'll pass and just take my chances. This old carcase has stuck by me a few good years, and it seems a bit disrespectful to go breaking and entering in its twilight years.
