I'm going 2-1 to David Moyes's massive bastards and although I never back us to lose, I actually feel more confident about this one than I did the Wolves game

Unusual to be involved in a couple of 6 pointers at the top of the table eh?
Think we might lose narrowly, few of our lads looked a bit knackered at Wolves. We should give them a game though.

We've played them 115 times in total, winning 38 & losing 59.

We haven't beaten them in the league since September 2015 & have only won 4 (in all competitions) in about 30 odd games since their takeover.

But this is a new West Ham & things are changing.

A loss this weekend will almost certainly still see us in 4th although 5 points off the team above us.

A win will see us level on points with Citeh.

I'm hoping Antonio is back to his best for this match.

Luckily most of them have had over a week off to rest since then

De Bruyne still out. Hopefully atleast one of Grealish & Foden will still be out.

They played well yesterday but had to work hard and don't see them being able to completely refresh their starting 11 like most weeks.

We should given them a game but need to defend very well.
Looking forward to it (haven't said that much over the years).

City are playing some cracking football at the moment. Not many teams can live with them. But if we can put in a performance like last season, you never know. Pep said it was one of there hardest games at the Etihad. Hopefully they are still missing KDB, Grealish and Foden. I think we will give them a good game.

I would personally bring Diop and Coufal in for Dawson and Johnson, but I think Moyes will stick with this team.

Fabianski
Johnson Zouma Dawson Cresswell
Rice Soucek
Bowen Fornals Benrahma
Antonio

Subs: Areola, Diop, Coufal, Masuaku, Lanzini, Vlasic, Kral, Yarmolenko, Noble,

Same here. Coufal just carries more of an attacking threat while Johnson is still finding his feet in that department.

We were unlucky not to get anything from this fixture last season. Guardiola said we were the toughest team they'd played which speaks volumes.

Personally I don't think we're gonna get anything here, but I've got confidence that we will at least be competitive.

I get married on Sunday at 1pm which probably means a 4-0 defeat and a mass inquisition of Moyes and half the squad that they’re not good enough.

Sorry all.

The question for moyes is does he stick with dawson which means zouma playing on the left and out of position or does he stick diop in and zouma plays his preferred position. I reckon he will go for dawson and we will sit deep hoping to catch on the counter.

coufal or johnson - again a decision to be made. joihnson quicker but coufal better going forward.

fabianski
johnson dawson zouma cresswell
rice soucek
bowen benrahma fornals
antonio

subs areola coufal diop masuaka lanzini noble kral vlasic perkins

yarmo to drop out as he played the whole match.

important for the 3 to get back to help in midfield otherwise we will be over run. cancelo likes to get forward a lot so we may have a chance inbetween but walker will cover. need antonio to be at his best beast mode and for us to take every chance. no wasteful finishing.

1-1 dawson with our equaliser

I suspect Moyes will name an unchanged starting 11 from the Wolves game. Despite us losing and not playing well, he’ll probably put it down to fatigue after the International break.

I am personally still undecided whether we should stick with that team, or go with more of a back 5. We were very unlucky against them last season at their gaff. We lost Fabianski to injury the night before, had to throw Diop into the side, with both ultimately playing a part in at least 1, if not both of City’s goals. Plus, Fornals was missing too. We certainly need to be compact defensively and play with aggression. Winning as much of the 2nd balls we can. When I have seen City slip up this season and last that’s been the common feature. It’s been against teams that have matched them physically and have beaten them for pace on the counter. Hence why Palace are especially a nightmare team for them! That’s why I’d seriously consider throwing Masuaku into the team in a back 5. To add more pace to the team.
