Ukrainians hit a Russian fuel depot with artillery
A Russian media outlet posted the below video showing that large amounts of the tanks were still intact.

You'll never guess what happened the next evening?

That's like BBC News telling the Argentinians why their bombs weren't exploding during the Falklands War.

U.S. privately asks Ukraine to show it’s open to negotiate with Russia

So 'privately' that it's in the Washington post?

Wonder whether the funds will fall off a clif if the Orange one gets in the White House? Maybe that's what Putin's end game is?

Even the Republicans taking a majority in the senate could put pressure on it.

Showing that it is not an unlimited tap of funding will help in that regard.

In other news, looks like the Russian blood for time is working. Plenty reports of mobilised troops getting hammered but it is definitely delaying Ukrainian advances.

Will be interesting to see where the lines settle as not much campaigning time left.

Oligarch Yevgeny Prigozhin, boss of the Wagner Group and one of the bods behind the troll farms talking about Russian interference in US elections past and current.

We have interfered, we are interfering and we will continue to interfere. Carefully, accurately, surgically and in our own way, as we know how to do." He added: “During our pinpoint operations, we will remove both kidneys and the liver at once.”

China getting tooled up to go and bash Taiwan. Wonder if the Ukraine invasion was part of their plans all along, knowing that the west would be tied up financing and equipping them against Russia?

I'd of thought that they had their eye on what happended, but given the resistance of the Ukrainians to the russian armed forces, it might have given them pause for thought.

Be interesting to know what sort of reserves the US have in terms of SAMS and AT missiles, as Ukrain must have drained quite a bit of stock

Russia surrendering one of the biggest annexed cities they hold - Kherson. To withdraw across the river. This war may be over sooner rather than later

I'm kind of expecting some kind of retaliation from the Russians after the Ukrainians have retaken Kherson, I hope I'm wrong and the worst of the war is over

Russians likely to hunker down - best hope is that somehow a start is made with regards to peace talks, although that stills seems pretty far off. Still, let's enjoy the Russians getting their butts kicked while we can.
