I'm glad Arsenal have held on from a neutral point of view to be fair. Sets up the second leg nicely.
I wonder if Arsenal getting to the final and having an extra fixture and something else to focus on might suit us?

One shot on target against a team with 10 men for 65 minutes. One man team indeed.

A very January 2021 performance from Liverpool that. Oh what I'd give for them to have another total collapse over the next 6 weeks.....

Whisper it quietly, but 2nd is still very much achievable if we had another striker and another centre back.

Klopp and Artera. - both utterly detestable.

Are Liverpool being investigated for postponing a match against Arsenal due to COVID when e wide cw suggests only 1 player tested positive.

Klopps claiming a lot of false negatives when there’s a 1/1000 chance per test.

Of course, there will be no punishment.
The Athletic report that the EFL are satisfied that Liverpool had to postpone the match - however clubs are questioning when Liverpool actually discovered the news about the false results.

Quote from The Athletic article:
According to sources, Liverpool underwent at least two rounds of testing prior to the postponement.

The first round, involving the use of lateral flow device (LFD) tests, highlighted a number of positive cases.

The second round, involving the use of polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests carried out by an independent laboratory, also highlighted a number of positive cases.

But a third round of tests conducted after the scheduled first leg indicated that the players in question were in fact negative. Liverpool did not comment when asked to confirm this and to explain when the results of the third set of tests were revealed.

‘False positive’ LFD results are considered highly unusual, with analysis by NHS Test and Trace showing LFD tests to have an estimated specificity of at least 99.97 per cent.

The chance of a succession of ‘false positive’ results is therefore considered extremely unlikely.

So, how are they so certain the second PCR test was correct and not a false negative?

I’d question this stat, I got married on NYE and two of our guests had a false positive using lateral flow tests a couple days before.

This testing positive for Covid malarky is going to be the next get out clause for teams who start getting a fixture build up. The only fair way to do it is for The FA to employ a team of totally independent testers.

You know full well that ain't going to happen!

If they do anything at all they'll tighten the rules and make an example of some 'lesser' club (Burnley or Norwich) and ignore all the blatant cheating going on at the top end by the usual suspects.

Arteta is just plain weird with his 'intensity'.
The trouble is once you have gone their everyone expects it, no turning back from the crazy Mikel show, anything less and its "whats the matter Mikel dont you care anymore". Made a rod for his own back the rumplestiltskin like pr*ck. Erm, is it crumpledforeskin ?
